Old Winehouse near the Moselle

Our Old Winehouse was built in 2014 as self-contained holiday house. In 50m (150ft) you already reach the Moselle with its wide meadows. The apartment (65 m²/700 ft²) has two bathrooms, two double-bedrooms (one on a gallery), kitchen and a spacious balcony. In our guest house right next to the Old Winehouse you find a wine lounge with vinotheque and wine refrigerator. Our Old Winehouse ("Altes Kelterhaus") was established in 2014 at the site of a former wine-cellar/bottle store of our former wine-growing estate. In a complex reconstruction process an architectural surprise now combining histority and modernity was created. With loving attention to detail created, you can now go on holiday and relax, where once the vintner worked and the wine found its way into the bottle. The apartment has its own entrance and is located in close proximity to our guest house. Directly in front of the house you will find our courtyard garden inviting you to relax with a small lawn, seating area, reclining chairs and a cozy arbour/pergola. With your own key you also have access to our in-house vinotheque with wine refrigerator and wine lounge. The Old Winehouse ("Altes Kelterhaus") is on its own as one of ten holiday apartments in our guest house and thus more house than apartment. We're there for you as contact persons and help you with any questions and can give you some hints or suggestions if you wish. The wine- and holiday village Ernst is quietly but centrally located in the immediate vicinity to Cochem at a distance of only 5km (3 miles). The romantic Beilstein can be reached at 6km (4 miles). With numerous bike and hiking paths (for example BREVA or Moselsteig path), the wide Mosel foreland with lawns, excellent taverns and gastronomy as well as a varied program of events you can plan here your relaxing or active holidays throughout the year. By bus (line 711) you can reach the district town of Cochem, the main train station (ll find a ferry stage/boat pier in Ernst. There is enough (free) parking space for your car immediately in front of the house. As a family business with tradition and longtime experience, your well-being is our personal concern.
