Rural Paradise Opposite the Murray

"Glennelly" rural paradise is set amongst 10 acres of idyllic rural farmland in Collendina, NSW. We provide a great opportunity for you to relax and enjoy a taste of country life, collecting fresh eggs for your breakfast from our small brood of friendly free-range hens, and enjoying the abundant birdlife (kookaburras, galahs, cockatoos, parrots, fairy wrens and many others) which frequent the property. There are also horses and sheep grazing in the adjacent properties. Our spacious family 4 bedroom home has more than enough space for families or groups of friends to relax and unwind in the serenity of a beautiful countryside, with the mighty Murray River right across the road. We have a massive covered outdoor entertaining area which includes a large gas BBQ and comfortable outdoor furniture setting. It’s a perfect place to have a relaxing cold drink or two while you watch the spectacular sunsets and admire the neighbouring birds and animals. There’s also a separate outdoor arbour complete with its own furniture which provides a perfect vantage point to watch the nightly star show. There’s also an outdoor fireplace for open fires (fire season permitting). Our kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’d possibly need to cater for small or large groups. We have a four-burner electric stove, electric oven, microwave, large fridge, electric frypans, toasted sandwich maker, Nespresso pod coffee machine, dishwasher and plenty of cutlery, crockery, pots and pans. There is also a large selection of cooking staples (oil, salt & pepper, spices etc.) which you are welcome to use. There are two large lounge areas with TVs and comfortable couches. We also have a pool table and fusbal table to keep the kids busy. We have ample space to park multiple cars, boats or jet skis. We have recently had NBN broadband connected so the wifi coverage across the entire residence and surrounds is excellent. Note: mobile phone coverage is limited on the property and you may find it easier to call via (Hidden by Airbnb) or instant messaging services. Due to our farm not being on town water, both the farm and house are run by using drinkable bore water and fresh tank. I also provide filtered water. The bathrooms and laundry use bore water, the kitchen has both bore and fresh tank water. The toilets are septic only toilet paper is allowed to be flushed. "Glennelly" is located opposite the Murray River, right off the main highway between Corowa and Mulwala. It is an easy 15 minute drive to Corowa, which is well serviced with supermarkets, liquor stores, banks, hotels, a gymnasium, riverside parks and jetties. Make sure you take the time to experience Corowa Whisky and Chocolate, and the many restaurants and cafes as you stroll through town. “Glennelly” provides a great base to explore the Rutherglen wine region, and enjoy our beautiful local golf courses, fishing spots, water skiing and many other attractions. We are also only a short drive from Yarrawonga/Mulwala (20 minutes) and the twin cities of Albury/Wodonga (50 minutes).
