Our Penthouse Studio offers a spacious open plan room, suitable for a single person, couple, family (including babies) and business travellers. Balcony overlooking the fabulous Hinterland views of Brisbane, the entire studio is exclusively yours. ☺ Apartment size: 80m2 Large balcony: with outdoor al fresco dining area. This is an open plan space with the option of a king size bed or 2x single beds. With 2x fold out sofa chair beds available for extra persons at an extra cost, $40 per person per night. For any other queries in regards to this, please message me. Guests have access to DVD player with DVDs. We also have DVDs suitable for children. For a family with infants and toddlers. I do charge $20 for the use of a Portacot, includes bedsheets and blankets. Please let me know if you wish to have this option so I can set it up prior to your arrival. But if you wish to set up the Portacot yourself and put away, then there is no charge or if your children are sleeping with you. We can set up a play tent upon request. I have a baby bathtub for your convenience. Ceiling fan in lounge space and in bedroom space with remote controls for extra comfort. There are two air conditioners, one in the bedroom area and the other in the kitchen. Kitchenette - stand alone cooktop and stove - microwave - toaster - jug - coffee plunger - pots, pans, utensils, crockery and more. Bathroom - bath and hand towels - shampoo & conditioner - body wash - hairdryer. There are no steps in the apartment. Extra sheets and towels are available at extra costs. Access to Swimming Pool, Spa Pool, Sauna, Gym, BBQ area and Tennis Court. Please take note of the dos and don't signs close to the facilities. Please note: due to Covid-19, the restaurant is still closed. There are two elevators in the building. Food & Drink There is a vending machine near reception on the right wall, it's hidden behind the column. I will welcome you when you arrive and hand you over the key (If I am available). Otherwise, alternative arrangements will be made. I do live in my own apartment next door, so I can be on hand if you need any help. If you arriving late at night, no problem. 24hr self check in is possible. Ideal for guests on late flights. No penalties! The apartment is located at 311 Vulture Street, South Brisbane. Hillcrest Apartment Hotel. We are located next door to Mater Private Hospital, near Queensland Children's Hospital 8mins walk down to the heart of Southbank, cafes, restaurants, cinema and shops Approx 15 - 20mins walk to Art galleries, Queensland Museum, QPAC, the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, State Library of Queensland, The Wheel of Brisbane, GOMA and the Gabba Cricket ground 5mins walk down to the Maritime Museum Ferry Terminal – ride on the free CityHopper to the city or cruise part of the Brisbane River 10 mins to Riverstage, Brisbane and Queensland of Technology University Suncorp Stadium is about 3.7km walk away. If you have pre-purchased tickets to Games or Concerts you can travel on the bus for free to and from the stadium. Mater Hill Station is about 5 mins walk from the apartment. Coming back from the stadium, go down to the Bus station and catch the Eight Miles Plains bus (third bus stop - Mater Hill Station). Plenty of options for transport. e.g. buses, trains, ferry, rental Neuron electric scooters and rental city bicycles If you wish to be driven around or to be shown around town, let me know, I may be available to do so. Fees apply. Normal Check In time is after 1pm and Check Out is 10am. This is flexible if there no other guests booked before and after. It's strictly prohibited to invite other guests into the studio without permission. Laundry - free self-service on Level 7 or any other levels in the building. It is a shared laundry facilities. A washing machine and dryer. I can provide you with free laundry powder. Note: please take care when smoking, outdoors only and no portable BBQs in the studio. Note: for business travellers, Airbnb hosts in Australia does not need to register for or collect GST. If you do need a receipt for your stay, your billing receipt and itinerary are automatically generated and stored in 'Your Trips' when your booking is confirmed. Or let me know that you need to claim it through work, then I would have to add the relevant tax before your booking.
