Duplex apartment in the heart of Eaton Village. Welcome to our Marston Lane Duplex. The duplex is an independent part of our home and is within a 5 minute walk of Marston Marsh Nature Reserve. A bus stop is situated opposite the house for trips into Norwich during the day (Konectbus), with the return stop on the other side of the road. It is possible to walk into Norwich, which takes about 45 minutes, so is a little over 2 miles away. Car parking is available on the road, but ideally behind the house, where 4 spaces are situated - they are rarely all utilised (please park considerately to ensure there is room for 4 cars). The apartment is furnished with a full kitchen, dining and lounge area, king size bed and a shower room. An additional child can be accommodated on a bed settee or a pump-up mattress . The lounge area has a small tv with access to Virgin TV, including Sky Sports and Sky Movies. WiFi is available, the code will be provided on arrival. Basic essentials will be provided upon arrival. Washing Machine and Dryer available on request. There are numerous walks available from our home, all of which we are happy to explain if required. Invariably one of us is around, so if you need anything, there is a doorbell at our door, otherwise a text or email normally reaches us. Our duplex is ideal for golf enthusiasts, with numerous courses within 10 miles - see our guidebook for more information. We are as available as our guests want us to be ! A Waitrose supermarket is 800m down the road, which can be reached in 10 minutes walking, or a 2 minute drive. There are 2 pubs in the village, The Cellar House is more of a traditional pub which serves food; The Red Lion is more of a restaurant. There is also a Fish & Chip shop / Thai - Chinese take away between the 2 pubs. The UEA (University of East Anglia) is about 1.5 miles away, where you can also find The Sainsbury Centre and a campus ideal for walking, especially along the river and round the lake. The N&NH (Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital) is about 3 miles from our apartment. Other walks can be found locally around Marston Marshes. There is a nearby golf course (you can hear the tee shots and the occasional shout of “fore”) from Eaton Golf Club. There are numerous other courses within about 10 miles, so an ideal location for golfers. We have excellent road access to the whole of Norfolk, being only 1 mile from the A11 and 2 miles from the A47. Norwich Railway Station is within 3 miles and Norwich International Airport is about 5 miles away. Buses run into the city centre from our home, currently every hour during the day, but are more frequent and run for longer hours from the village.
