Somervell Place - Bright, Cosy & Stylish Studio

Light and airy studio situated in a quiet leafy street. Our pride and joy, built by us with particular attention to detail and sustainability. Comfortably equipped with queen bed, cosy sitting area, spacious kitchen with dining and bathroom. Very convenient location: close to the University of Queensland, PA Hospital, Mater Hospital and Tennyson Tennis Centre; CBD is just 4km away and South Bank cultural precinct is 3km, the airport is 40mins away by train. Car parks available on the street. The studio is located on the ground floor of our house, a renovated characteristic Queenslander and has an independent access from the street. We live upstairs: myself, my husband and our two children. You may hear us upstairs although there is acoustic insulation sometimes we can be loud but always respecting quite times. Very spacious, bright and fully furnished, the studio has its own functional kitchen (big fridge and freezer, electric cooktop and oven), a great bathroom, a sitting and reading area and a comfortable queen bed, separated from the main area. Breakfast is provided with coffee, tea and light snacks. There is no wi-fi and TV but a bookshelf full of books and magazines for you to enjoy, and a nice sitting area in the garden. Baby cot available on request. The apartment has its own independent access from the street. There are a few landscape steps to access the studio. We live upstairs, if you need anything we are here to help you! Fantastic location if you need to stay close to the University of Queensland, the Princess Alexandra Hospital, the Mater Hospital, the Tennyson Tennis Centre, the Gabba and many other places. Really well serviced with public transport: you can get easily to the CBD or South Bank in less than 15 minutes by train or bus. Coles, Aldi and Woolworth are just at short walking distance. Yeronga Public swimming pool is next door, with heated swimming pools and beautiful children pool and playgrounds. Yeronga park has also tennis courts and basket court if you like sports. Fairfield train station is five minutes away. From there you can go anywhere, from the Gold Coast to the bay or the airport. The bus stop is located in the close by Ipswich Road. If you are by car you can park on the street. There are good places to eat around here, really cozy and convenient! Just ask us in case you would like some suggestions!
