The Old Police House

Bed linen and towels provided. Please note the bathroom and both bedrooms are upstairs. Come home from a day of exploring to relax by the fire and enjoy the view of Uig Bay. Cook for your guests in the kitchen or discover some of Skye's award winning restaurants. Guests are welcome to use the garden surrounding The Old Police House. We ask that guest do not go beyond the garden gate into the chickens area, do not cross over fences into neighbouring farmland and do not interfere with the animals. Guests are given privacy to enjoy The Old Police House. I can be contacted using the contact details in the Guest Information book. Uig is a quiet village with picturesque scenery. A great place to explore and so close to other beautiful spots on Skye. It is a delight to live here! Close to ferry terminal, boat trips, fuel station, local shop/post office, Uig Hotel, Ferry Inn and the famous Fairy Glen. A fantastic base to explore the Island and beyond. City Link buses pass by The Old Police House every day so you can get here from Inverness or Glasgow without having to drive but if you plan on exploring the island the best way to do it is by car. Car rental is available in Portree. Guests should stop at a super market en route to Uig. There are Co-op supermarkets in Portree, Broadford and Kyle. Uig has one grocery store/post office and one fuel station but opening times vary seasonally.
