THE SEED is a Ecofriendly hideaway in the heart of the tropical South Coast of Sri Lanka. An inspiring Co-Living space for conscious travellers with an open minded view, young hearts and a broaden perspective. Collaborative space, good atmosphere, spacious, calming, ecofriendly. Your home away from home. ~ With The Seed we hope to be an example, to help provide new ways to travel – a luxe Nomadic life style, with a conscious mind. ~ Take an outside shower underneath lush green tropical plants while listening to the birds singing. Gather fresh bananas from the trees in the garden & make yourself comfortable in the all-equipped outside kitchen. Breathe in the tropical air and enjoy a cup of Ayurvedic herbal tea or read a book on the wooden veranda. ~ Gracefully end your day by taking a solar heated shower while treating your skin with a locally made Ayurvedic soap, ready to take a well deserved rest in the spacious king size bed provided with the softest bed sheets. ~ Get creative and inspired, surf amazing waves, touch a spark of the slow life all while giving back to the local communicatie. ~ The Seed offers a beautiful combination of giving back while enjoying a beautiful stay. ~The rooms are minimalistic comfortable & beautiful. ~ QUEENROOM ~ is located on the side of the property. It has its own private entrance. The room has a high ceiling for great airflow. It has curtains covering a big row of windows through which the first morning light enters. It has a king-sized bed, overhead fan, portable standing fan, Chair, Desk & Wardrobe. Free WiFi. Shared bathroom with solar heated rain shower. Excess to the all-equipped open kitchen and a wooden veranda to yourself. ~ Us; Marco (Swiss) and my partner Dieuwke (Dutch), will be accessible through Airbnb. Currently we are not in Sri Lanka. Our very close local friend (and English teacher) Sajeeva will welcome you and help you with anything you might need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. ~ We are happy to provide you with information about any activities or sights around Sri Lanka as well as taxi service and transportation. ~ At The Seed we stand for Ecofriendly living, being close to nature, collaborate and interact with like minded people while giving back to our environment. This is why we created a co-living space where you can decide for yourself to enjoy a quiet evening in the comfortable spacious room, read a book on your private veranda or interact and cook together with your neighbors in the shared open kitchen. ~ Creating a sustainable lifestyle is what we stand for - and so we make use of decomposable bags, use only refillable bottles, make use of a compost system and live by the three most important R`s in life. Reuse. Reduce. Recycle. ~ We have created a space where you can enjoy while giving back. CAR, BUS, TAXI, TUKTUK, MOTORBIKE GIVE BACK ~ Next to The Seed you’ll find the local OXPO English school with the most amazing English teacher Sajeeva who has dedicated his life to welcoming & teaching the local kids - who do not have the funds to follow a proper education. ~ 50% of your stay at The Seed will be used for the development of the local English school. This way we are able to rebuild the school building and provide the students with educational materials - as well as finding volunteers to teach open minded classes such as yoga, local crafting, recycling, art, Ayurveda, beach clean ups and much more!
