Stunning eight (8) year old home centrally located in Glen Waverley within walking distance to The Glen shopping centre, bus and train stations. Kitchen available if you wish to cook and a Laundry. Please read ALL House Rules before sending a Reservation Request Spacious, separate self contained bedroom with own Walk-In Robe (WIR), Study Desk and Bathroom (Ensuite) Sheridan sheets and towels provided in room. Separate cooking facilities downstairs as well as a washing machine, indoor and outdoor clothes line, iron and ironing board. An upstairs and a downstairs fridge is also available to guests. Located in the quiet South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, you'll be listening to the 'birds and the bees'(literally) and not the 'hustle and bustle' of CBD traffic and noise. As little or as much as required. Having worked at the Hyatt on Collins for a number of years, I understand hospitality. Also, having travelled extensively for over 30 years, I am very familiar with the needs of the traveller and how to make their stay comfortable. Jenny and I are available whenever you need us 24/7 or not at all. It's entirely up to you... We are within a short walk to: - The Glen shopping centre - the Glen Waverley library - Century City Village Cinemas - The Pancake Parlour - Strike Bowling Alley - Cafes - Restaurants (Thai, Chinese, Italian, Vietnamese, Indian, Malay, Japanese, etc.) Parks and gardens. Peaceful. Safe. Quiet. Proximity to train and bus station, The Glen shopping centre, cafes, supermarkets, restaurants, library and cinemas, etc. A short 15 min. walk (or 5 min. drive) to The Glen shopping centre and/or the train and bus stations and taxi services. Train is a 30 min. trip to Melbourne CBD. The bus can take you to Chadstone shopping centre; the largest shopping centre in the Southern Hemisphere. There are also buses to Knox shopping centre, Brandon Park shopping centre, Deakin Unversity (Burwood Campus) and Monash University (Clayton Campus) Close to Monash Freeway (M1) and Eastlink Freeway (M3) for easy access to all parts of Melbourne, including the Yarra Valley, Mornington Penninsula, Geelong and the Dandenong Ranges. Bicycles are available upon request as there are many bicycle trails/tracks nearby. There is also a bus stop within 100 metres of our property. Breakfast can be provided on request for only AUD$10 per person per day. Includes juice, cereal, toast and tea or coffee. Alternatively, Jenny can arrange Chinese food for breakfast. Please note: 24 hours notice required Whilst we are a family-friendly property, if you have children staying on our property, you are responsible for their safety.
