A little bit of luxury by Loch Ness .... Come and relax at our lodge built to cater for all your needs - experience all that the Highlands can offer. Unwind and stargaze on the decking or listen to the sounds of the river flowing by while enjoying a glass of your favorite tipple, watching for wildlife from the comfort of the glass balcony. The lodge is yours during your stay so you can come and go as you please. Our newly built lodge offers a little bit of luxury for up to 2 guests. The ground floor comprises : Large cosy living room with a sumptuous sofa, wood burner, Sky TV, DVD player, Alexa with Spotify music and dining table. Downstairs bathroom - with a large shower and Bluetooth audio mirrors allowing you to take your playlists with you. Shower gels are provided. Bright airy kitchen well equipped with everything you need including induction hob, oven, microwave, washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. Underfloor heating throughout the lower level. The first floor comprises: A large bedroom area with king size bed, Alexa with Spotify music and a view which makes you want to wake up in the morning. Double doors lead onto a glazed balcony where you can sit and enjoy the uninterrupted views. Excellent for stargazing on a dark night. A large en-suite bathroom with a slipper bath and separate shower. Shower gels are provided. Garden comprises: A decking area with a table and chairs for outdoor eating or morning coffee. The River Coiltie flows directly past the end of the lodge garden - so a great place to unwind and spot the wildlife. Guest access: You have exclusive access to the lodge during your stay allowing you to come and go as you please and enjoy exploring the Highlands during your visit. Wood burner: To keep things toasty logs are provided throughout your stay. We are happy to talk you through using the wood burner if you would like us to. Please note this property no longer offers the amenity of a hot tub. We live in the main house next door to the lodge. Rod works full time and I run Crogacn Lodge. I like to meet all my guests on arrival to show you the lodge and answer any questions you may have. You will also be provided with an individual security access code for your stay prior to arrival, should I not be available to meet you we will let you know and will make sure we meet you afterwards. We know the area well and can advise on walking routes, mountain bike routes, places to see and visit, local restaurants and anything else which springs to mind. Within walking distance of all the restaurants, bars and shops in Drumnadrochit yet far enough away to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Highlands. Crogacn Lodge is a perfect base to explore the stunning and interesting sights of the Highlands. Not only does Drumnadrochit/Lewiston provide you with stunning scenery, walks and mountain biking, it also offers The Loch Ness Centre and Exhibition, gift shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and the popular traditional Glenurquhart Highland Gathering & Games held during August, all within walking distance of the shores of Loch Ness. We are under a mile from the majestic ruins of Urquhart Castle which sits proudly overlooking Loch Ness. You can visit Glen Affric which is only a short drive away, truly one of Scotland’s most breathtaking glens. Experience a cruise on the waters of Loch Ness or head to Inverness, the Highland capital, a short 25 minute drive away and offers an abundance of bars, restaurants, shops, theatres, museums and city sights. So much to experience in the Highlands leaving you relaxed with incredible memories to share... Parking is available onsite and the local buses stop on the road outside the lodge. The main Citylink buses stop on the A82, ask to get off at Lewiston, you are only 5 minutes away from luxury and relaxation ...... Check in is from 16:00 onwards - this is the earliest the Lodge will be ready for your relaxing stay due to the high standards of preparation we deliver for all guests staying with us - trust us - its worth the wait ....
