YongPyong Resort YongPyong Resort, acclaimed as one of the world's top 20 ski resorts, is a hotbed for Korea's winter sports. Its Rainbow Paradise Slope will be the venus of the giant slalom and slalom events at the Pyeongchang 2018 Olympic Winter Games. YongPyong Resort clearly stands apart from other ski resorts in terms of scale. It is a perfect getaway spot equipped with Korea's lagest skiing facilities - including 28 slopes, 14 lifts,and Ski house-sa well as golf course, a water park. Samyang Ecogreen Campus The Samyang Ecogreen Campus is Asia's largest ranch, which stretches across grasslands measuring approximately 20 square kilometers. It was first developed in 1972 and completed in 1985. The vast expanse of gently sloping grasslands exudes a rustic feel and has served as a filming location of many movies and TV dramas. At the summit of Mount Sohwangbyeongsan-Daegwallyeong's highest point that meets the sky, the panoramic view of the entire ranch unfolds. The East Coast Observatory, located near the northeastern end of the ranch, offers a spectacular view of the city of Gangneung and the pristine waters of the East Sea. 5. Daegwallyeong Sheep Heard Ranch Over 200 white sheep leisurely grazing on grasslands of approximately 205,000 square meters create a tranquil and conforting setting. Vistors can approach and feed dry grass to the sheep. In the evening, the sky and ranch are aglow with the flaming sunset, creating a magnificent sight beyond description.
