Shanti, our Indian Shepherds hut
Our Shepherd's hut is situated in the rolling hills of Wales. On a 18th century smallholding, 1200ft up in the Cambrian mountains. Sitting in its own private valley, with 24 acres of forest - ancient trees, little streams, natural gardens and adjoining 2000 acres of heather-clad moorland. A peaceful, and quiet location with sounds of bird songs and nature perfect for nature lovers and a romantic getaway! This stunning Indian inspired hut is adorned with reclaimed antique furniture an old wooden floor, ethnic colours and features and a cosy wood burner. It has its own little built in kitchen with a hob and microwave oven, fridge and sink. Its own private bathroom, with a power shower and heated towel rails. Sleeps two on a double or alternatively two in single bed format. Luxury cozy duvets, towels and linen provided! A perfect romantic retreat! Now with a beautiful hand made large decking to sit out on and enjoy the views! Please note: Parking is a short walk 4 min away from our Shepherds Huts and walking to them involves some stairs. Please note. Wifi is not available in the shepherds hut but in a dedicated on-site free wifi cafe. There is also very poor (none) mobile reception here so there is an on-site pay phone available 24/7. There is also 24 acres of woodland you are free to explore and plenty of walks with OS maps in our Internet cafe you are more than welcome to use. Due to COVID-19 we have made the self check-in so guests can show them selves into their accommodation. Our contacts details are also supplied if needed. Newtown is the closest town around 10 mile away. This has everything you need, from Tesco, Morrison’s, Lidl to banks, butcher, a bakery and plenty of pubs, cafes etc to get a nice bite to eat! The Radnorshire Arms beguildy is 10 min away, a great pup for a quiet drink and also has the most amazing food! Please note - Furry friends are always welcome but we do have a £10 per dog per stay surcharge which you can pay on arrival.
