Private Apartment overlooking Cork Harbour

A newly renovated private apartment located outside the picturesque village of Monkstown, overlooking Cork harbour with stunning views. It has a superb location - 20 minutes from Cork Airport & Cork City Center, 10 minutes from the Cork Ferry Port in Ringaskiddy and 15 minutes from the historical town of Cobh. There are plenty of things to do both locally (Titanic experience in Cobh & Spike Island) and a short drive away (Blarney Castle, Jameson Experience in Midleton & Fota Wildlife Park). We have recently renovated this apartment which caters to all of your needs during your stay. The living space has a cosy lounge area with a TV, a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster & coffee machine and a breakfast table for your morning coffee with a view. Although there are no cooking facilities, Ber will provide you with the basic essentials such as milk, butter, juice, cereal & bread if you wish to make a quick breakfast before you leave on your day trip! The bedroom is comfortable with a queen bed and some storage space and it's own en-suite bathroom. Also, if it is a nice day, please feel free to use our outdoor patio space. We are both retired, so we are available at any time to support your stay. Liam is a retired School Principal, speaks fluent Irish Language and basic French, and is an expert on the local history of Cork and Ireland if you have any questions. We are very well located for access to the famous "Wild Atlantic Way" along the south-west coast of Ireland and to all the beautiful and historical places surrounding Cork Harbour, Kinsale and West Cork. Cork City itself is only 12 km (8miles) away with plenty of bars, restaurants, shops & cultural activities. Closer to home, you will find some cosy Irish pubs & a well-known seafood restaurant, the Bosun, in Monkstown village. A regular bus services the area to and from Cork City Center. We are fortunate enough to have a bus stop right at the end of our driveway so you won't have to walk far! For parking, you will have a free car park space right outside the apartment. A Public Bus sevice runs regularly adjacent to our Driveway. Cork Airport 20mins away. Ringaskiddy Ferry Terminal to Spain and France, 5mins away. Cross River Ferry to Cobh and Fota Wildlife Park, 5mins away. Monkstown Golf Club, 5 mins away.
