The tower is located in the historic centre of the town, at the corner of Piazza Duomo. It is spread across 11 floors and 143 steps in total. The narrow staircase with handrail climbs up to the dreamy panoramic rooftop from which you can enjoy a stunning 360° view all over San Gimignano. Guests live ''vertically'' on all floors, one above the other. The tower can accommodate up to 3 people. There is no air conditioning, however few fans are supplied in summer. Each level is about 12 sqm. Due to its particularity, the tower is not suitable for children under 12, people with limited physical ability or claustrophobics. Pets are not allowed. Every landmark such as bars, restaurants, shops, grocery stores, chemist, bus station.. is literally 0-5 minutes within walking distance. DESCRIPTION OF THE TOWER - 1st floor: The widest. Very bright living room and kitchenette (open space) equipped with electric oven, espresso coffee maker, fridge, freezer, 4-burner stove, kettle, cutlery, glasses and dishes. There is a table with 4 chairs and a stone seat carved into the wall. TV, terracotta floor, two large windows overlooking Via San Matteo and the Duomo of San Gimignano - 2nd floor: Mezzanine open on the kitchenette (little table and a small leather sofa) - 3rd floor: Bathroom with shower enclosed inside the wall, hairdryer - 4th floor: Passage floor with a small design table and two chairs - 5th floor: Two single bunk beds (each 90x190) - 6th floor: '' French style '' foldaway bed (120x190) and two large windows - 7th floor: Passageway, small bookstore - 8th floor: Bathroom (toilet and sink) - 9th floor: Passageway corridor - 10th floor: Second kitchenette equipped with fridge, freezer, stove with 4 electric plates, glasses and dishes. To access the terrace, open the skylight (electric button) - 11th floor: Stunning 360° skyview rooftop, equipped with a table and four chairs Access in the city centre is allowed for loading/unloading luggage only, then the car must be parked outside the walls. The closest parking lots are P2 'Montemaggio', a 5-minute walk away, and parking lots P3/P4 'Bagnaia' is a 10-minute walk away. Alternatively, you may consider parking for free along Via Don E. Castaldi. From here, the historic center can be reached in 10-12 minutes on foot.
