The Mill & Mill House, Isola

The Mill & Mill House have been restored to retain all the original features but with every comfort. There are 2 well equipped fitted kitchens, separate lounges and dining rooms but room to all cook and eat together in the Mill House. There are 2 pools with decking and lots of places to eat outside under the vines. The area is fantastic for walking and with lots of hill topped villages to explore. Local restaurants are family fun with local Tuscan specialities. Cancellation policy is strict. The Mill and Mill House give you a chance to get to the real, unspoilt and authentic Italy. For a large group there is plenty of space to be independent or together. Ideal for those who love peace and quiet, good food and exploring the countryside. The two houses can be independent or connected through the top floor. The houses are set within a secluded chestnut valley, 3km above the medieval walled town of Castiglione. Castelnuovo is 20 minutes away and has good train links. The nearest airport is Pisa, 90 minutes away. There are good train links from Castelnuovo ( 20mins) away to Lucca (1 hour) and Florence (2 hours). You will need a car to explore the local area.
