Now a second room available in a beautifully restored Piemontese farmhouse high on a hill, overlooking the nearby village, the lips and surrounding vineyards. An easy walk to the village and within a few kilometers of hundreds of cantinas large and small producing Italy's best wines. A perfect place to enjoy a truly authentic Italian country experience! This is a true country house.....thick ivy-covered walls and heavy tiled roof. While we enjoy almost all modern amenities, you'll still feel like you're living in a time past. More than two cars passing in a day counts as heavy traffic for us! The setting is ideal...walking distance to the village that offers all services and restaurants, but secluded on a hilltop with no immediate neighbors. There are beautiful views of the Alps, vineyards and nearby villages and many local routed for runners, walkers and trekkers of any ability. In good weather as outdoor covered terrace adjacent to the guest rooms offers fantastic views, lounging and a full-function kitchenette. Its a great space for relaxing, entertaining or cooking up a quick meal. There are additional terraces on the ground floor, front and back, as well as a large cantina, and many places to relax in the garden. In summer month we have a small dunk pool for cooling off and plenty of places to relax in the sun. We can offer you plenty of recommendations for restaurants and wine producers. In a ten minute walk you can visit a number of good producers and some excellent cantinas. Within a short drive you can be in some of the most famous wine producing villages in Italy....Barolo, La Morra, Barbaresco...and the truffle capital of Italy, Alba. Further afield are the stunning sights of the Alps, Torino and the coast. A car is recommended for getting around.....while we are the middle of a vast wine producing region, points of interest can be distant from one another.
