Lovely small guesthouse in a little village in Varkala. Very quiet and peaceful place, surrounded by nature and a 2 minutes walk from a beautiful, untouched Aaliyirakkm beach. There are four spacious and comfortable rooms. Each room is designed to give guests total privacy. Kitchen, dinning and living room are available for all guests. The base price is per room, 2 guests if you are more please send a message for pricing. More intimacy for you, our house is only 4 bedrooms and it has spacious common livings and terraces. It has a big garden with lots of trees and flowers and sometimes you can spot peacocks, monkeys, mongoose and all kind of birds. There are three terraces where you can relax in the shade when the sun is to hot or you can practice yoga on the rooftop terrace while looking at the sea. You have access to the garden, the 3 terraces, fully equipped kitchen. If you need breakfast we can prepare it for you with ingredients from our garden, in a traditional Kerala way. This will be a small extra cost. We plan to leave you have your intimacy in this corner of heaven but if you need anything we will be there. If you need to rent a bike, some touristic tips, call a taxi or rickshaw just tell us and we will be glad to help. The house is in the more quiet touristic area of Varkala, just before you enter the Aaliyirakkm beach, still close enough to some good restaurants and places where you can take yoga and surf classes. Everyday on the beach you will find the local boys playing their volleyball and they will take you right in if you want to join. 100 m south on the beach there is the fishing village where, in the morning, you can watch how the fishermen pull their boats in and unload the fish that they caught over night. The train and bus station is only 2,5 km away. If you want to visit Kovalam beach, Kollam or Trivandrum you will find trains every half an hour. It is quite an experience to travel on our trains. Fish market is 3,5 km away Stores and ATM in 1 km Tea and snacks stands are close by. We can arrange taxi service to and from airport if you need it or we can explain how to get around with train and rickshaw. If you come with taxi or rickshaw tell the driver to take you to the Aaliyirakkam beach. About 100 m from before the beach, on the left side is our house.
