Enjoy the simple life in our chilled out, low tech beach house. Guarneri has amazing 270 degree views of sunrises over the Tuart forrest and sunsets over the ocean - all from within the living room or balcony. Please note- if you need to cancel due to lockdowns rest assured we will give full refunds for any nights you cant stay. Welcome to our family beach house moments from the beach with sweeping ocean, forrest and wetland views. Guarneri is a laid back, pet friendly and kid friendly home. The bedrooms are cosy, but the kitchen has plenty of space and the living room has windows facing 270 degrees. The views are so good that you can see the fireworks in Bunbury and Busselton on Australia day. The beach is also about a 200m walk down the hill and through the dunes - easy enough to go swimming several times a day if you're that way inclined. The house has a deck to make the most of the magnificent views and it's equipped with a locking gate to keep your pets or little kids from wandering off. Check in is after 2pm and check out is 10am. The cleaner is normally there on the dot of 10am, so please plan to leave by this time to save you having to do a frantic pack up. The kitchen includes: fridge, electric (ceramic), stove top coffee espresso maker, hotplates, toasted sandwich maker, kettle, microwave oven, electric wok, a full 2nd drawer (knives, spatulas, etc), a filtered water jug and there is a webber BBQ on the deck too. We also provide dog bowls for your furry friends. We leave salt, pepper, cooking oil, (instant) coffee, tea bags and there'll probably be some extra condiments left by other guests. There's kids toys, 1980s board games, lots of kids books, a TV and DVD player (BYO DVDs). There's no internet, but the phone reception is good being so high up, so you should be able to connect through a mobile. Plenty of parking for three cars. You get access to everything, apart from the downstairs shed and the hall cupboard and the top drawer in the bathroom. You can give us a call if you need help working something out. The caretaker is also available if you need someone to come in person. Peppermint Grove Beach is a lovely sleepy little coastal town. You will feel a million miles from anywhere. Even at peak season you'll be lucky to have 20 other people on the beach. Life is simple. Lots of beach walks, watching sunsets over the ocean and sunrises over the Tuart forrest and the wetland. There is a small shop open on the weekends at the caravan park and the community centre has regular coffee and cake mornings where everyone is welcome. There is a look out a short walk away, just 1 hill to the south of us, this has wonderful 360 degree views and is a great palace to spot the eagles. Dolphins and string rays are a regular at the beach and if fishing is your thing there a usually a few people at the beach in the evening. We have a high chair available on request.
