Llety Llechen is a spacious self-catering accommodation located right on the high street in the heart of the village of Llanberis at the foot of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). We are seconds away from Pete's Eats cafe and the beautiful Llyn Padarn. If you’re looking for a relaxing family get away or an adventure packed break in stunning Eryri (Snowdonia), Llety Llechen is perfect for you. Conveniently located to access all of what Llanberis has to offer, scenery, cafe's, pubs and plenty of activities. This is a beautiful three storey accommodation that has all your necessities and has views of Eryri (Snowdonia) mountain range from the roof terrace. Ground Floor. There is a large open plan living area, with extra space for relaxing, playing board games or planning your itinerary. The living area has ample comfortable seating, TV, and a cosy modern Gas stove (please note, not a log burner) for those chillier evenings. There’s a fully kitted out kitchen with breakfast bar and a dining area to enjoy with your family and friends. It has all your kitchen requirements and there will be tea, coffee, milk, and cleaning essentials provided. There’s a practical utility room with a washing machine and a condenser dryer and a sizable hanging space for your coats. The room also has a toilet, sink and a shower. First Floor The hallway leads you to the access to the modest roof terrace/decking area, with picnic table, the perfect spot to enjoy the summer evenings. On this floor you will find the main bathroom that has a toilet, bath and a separate shower and necessities are provided. Bedroom 3: Yr Wyddfa: This bedroom has one zip and link bed that can be configured to a single or double bed and two single beds. The room benefits from a built-in clothes storage space. Second floor Bedroom 1: Moel Eilio: This bedroom has a double bed, a built-in wardrobe with drawer storage with a sink and a vanity desk. This room has views of Moel Eilio and surrounding mountains. Bedroom 2 Elidir Fawr: This room also has a double bed, a built-in wardrobe with drawer storage with a sink and vanity desk. This room has views of Elidir Fach and Elidir Fawr and the exquisite Slate Quarry You will have access to the whole property and the roof terrace. We kindly ask that guests enjoy the decked area only and refrain from stepping on the rubber roof. Decking and roof terrace is currently unsuitable for unsupervised children. Happy to answer texts, (Hidden by Airbnb) mesages and Emails trwy Cymraeg / English. Llanberis is a beautiful village surrounded by Eryri mountains where you are sure to receive a warm Welsh welcome. The village itself is full of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. You can pick up your groceries and supplies at the Spar just minutes along the high street open 7am to 11pm 7 days a week. Larger supermarkets are 10 mins drive away. All within walking distance is Llyn Padarn which offers a wide range of water sports activities, plenty of picnic spots, Dolbadarn castle and the fantastic slate quarry and museum, and Snowdon Mountain Railway. In this jewel of an area you are spoilt for choice with a huge range of activities including hill walking, climbing, cycling, kayaking, and much more! You are 15 minutes’ drive from the historic town of Caernarfon which is home to Wales’ most famous castle and an UNESCO World Heritage Site. It a picturesque town packed with history, fantastic views and delightful shops and cafes and restaurants. You are 20 mins drive away from Zip World which is home to Velocity 2, the fastest zip line in the world and the longest in Europe, beautiful beaches, and Wales’ costal path. The spectacular Pen Llŷn (Llŷn Peninsula) and the Isle of Anglesey (Ynys Môn) are within a 30min drive for you to enjoy. However, there is a bus stop just outside of Llety Llechen which can take you to nearby places nearby such as Caernafon on the 88 bus, Bangor on the 85 bus, Betws-y-Coed or Pen-y-Pass on the S2 bus. There are also several local taxi services. Parking - There is limited waiting directly outside property, Public car park 1 minute walk from property. Public long stay car park approx 4 min walk from property. Due to COVID-19 we are taking extra care to sanitize this accommodation and are committed to enhanced cleaning.
