Quiet Comfortable Home Close To Town

COVID 19 - We both have compromised immune systems, are trippled jabbed with the Pfizer Vaccine. We will only accept bookings from fully vaccinated guests with immediate effect. We are located close to the nearest shops, restaurants and supermarket, the town centre is a short drive away whilst Ohope beach is a nominal 15 minute drive We have two guest bedrooms, each featuring a queen size bed and built in wardrobe, the bed is provided with two sets of pillows; however, if these are not comfortable, please say as we have a selection available, the room also features a desk with reading lamp, the room has sole use of a private bathroom, and separate wc. We have an open plan living area, with large modern kitchen, these areas are fully insulated to the floor, ceiling and walls. We also have a gym area, featuring a weights machine, cross trainer, treadmill and vibration machine, all of which are available for guests to use, there is also a separate toilet and vanity off of the gym area. Due to an extremely bad experience with a long stay incredibly rude and abusive adult student, we no longer accept bookings for longer than one month, we have enjoyed many amazing guests; alas this guest was far from one of those and has left us very wary. We are located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, and have ample parking for two or more cars. Evening meals can be provided for typically $20.00 - $30.00 per person per night, assuming adequate notice is provided. We welcome socialising, but are equally happy respecting your privacy, we will be available throughout your stay for any assistance you may require. Walter Park is very close to all amenities - supermarket, takeaways, hairdressers, doctors, pharmacies. McDonalds, Burger King and KFC are all a short drive away, as is the town centre, in fact, everything in Whakatane is within a short distance from our home. There are restaurants of various ethnicities with pubs and bars in abundance. Activities include fishing at the harbour mouth, trips to Whale Island, with beautiful Ohope Beach only a nominal 10 minute drive. Exploration is highly recommended. The main town centre and river are a nominal 3/5 minute drive away, Ohope Beach is approximately a 10 minute drive away. For those not driving, there are local buses to other surrounding towns. For those guests not driving, we are happy to arrange pickups from the central bus drop off point in the CBD by the "i" centre, just let us know before you arrive.
