Domaine de la Fage: wonderful place!
## The Domain Le Domaine de la Fage is composed of 3 houses (capacity 29 people): > The main house of la Fage (15), > The Walnut House (6 pers), > The Valley House (7 pers). Each house has its own private area as well as an equipped kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. The disposition of the property will guarantee you complete privacy. You can rent the entire property or just a house (do not hesitate to contact us for more information). The Estate has been designed to accommodate large groups. The main house has a large dining room with a table that can accommodate up to 24 people. However, during periods of confinement, any gathering of more than 6 people is prohibited. A room (PRM) on the ground floor has been specially designed to accommodate people with reduced mobility. The living expenses include: Reception, linen supplies (bed sheets, bath towels and bathrobes), bedding, end-of-stay cleaning and check-out inventory. ## Location The "Périgord noir" is a region of the Dordogne department. Its castles, prehistoric sites, medieval villages and landscapes make it famous. First, Sarlat. It is a flagship place in Périgord. A few years ago, Sarlat was a medieval town. Today, it is remarkably well preserved, for our greatest happiness. There is not really a period to visit it. With the exception that, in winter, only three key events are scheduled: the Christmas market, the truffle festival in January and the feast of the goose in February. Then we would say that it is the Valley of Vézère. Why would you ask us? Simply because prehistory represents the history and heritage of this valley. Go see more closely, there are many prehistoric sites that are listed on the World Heritage List of UNESCO (to quote one, we quote you the most famous, the Cave of Lascaux). Finally, when a medieval city and prehistoric sites are gathered on the same region, you only have to enjoy a rich nature during your free time. This is what the Dordogne Valley offers: unspoilt nature composed of major heritage sites such as the sites of Castelnaud, Roque Gageac, the village of Domme (listed among the most beautiful villages in France). ## Transit Car recommended but possibility to come by taxi from Bergerac or Bordeaux airport. ## Good To Know! The swimming pool is not usable from October to April due to weather conditions. The rest of the year, it is heated and maintained. We will be at your disposal if needed during your stay but we do not live on site.
