Stylishly furnished well appointed apartment in the picturesque village of Buckland Monachorum, it as an ideal base for exploring both Devon and Cornwall. The totally renovated apartment is situated above the Drake Manor , a cosy historic Inn dating back to the 12th Century. It was part of the Buckland Abbey estate and was owned in the 16th century by Sir Francis Drake. The exposed timbers and vaulted ceiling create a welcoming spacious apartment. The bedrooms can be arranged as a twin bedded or superking bedroom and a standard double. Please confirm bed configuration on booking. A cot is available on request. On entering the building there is a staircase with private entrance door to the apartment. Guests are of course able to use all the Drake Manor Inn facilities during opening hours, and come and go as they please. There is a pretty, sheltered garden to the side of the building. I or my competent team will be on hand throughout your stay . Located in a quiet historic village. The property was part of Buckland Abbey estate. Owned by Sir Francis Drake in the Sixteenth century. On site and on road parking. A local bus service to Yelverton. Connections to Tavistock and Plymouth from there. Good Train service from Plymouth. Meals may be served in the apartment if required. Ice is available during opening hours.
