The Galloway Forest is nearby which is fabulous for walking, mountain biking etc. Knockman Wood and Wood of Cree are within walking distance of the apartment and Newton Stewart town is around 0.75 miles. The rural area provides a relaxing atmosphere in which to de-stress for a while. Nearest hotel is the Creebridge Hotel which is approximately 0.25 miles along the road. Newton Stewart town, less than a mile away, provides numerous shops, takeaways and restaurants. Lounge /diner/kitchen area for making meals. Kitchen has gas cooker, electric kettle, toaster, microwave and cutlery, plates etc (all you would need). Television and dvd player in lounge area. Additional tv with freeview in one of the bedrooms. Washing machine and outside washing line also available, clothes pegs in cupboard. There is also a garage to the rear of the property for storage of bikes and/or outdoor gear. Leaflets within flat advise on other walks/beaches which are a short car drive away eg Glen Trool, Kirroughtree. Kirroughtree also offers fantastic biking trails for the enthusiast. Old Minnigaff Church with fine examples of stained glass windows 50 metres away (open on certain days). Free parking available front and rear of property. Nearest hotel serving food and drinks is 0.5 miles away. A number of bars, restaurants and coffee shops in town which is about 1 mile away from property.
