Lido di Lugano is about 8 minutes’ walk from here where guests can dive into a heated swimming pool, walk on the sandy beach, enjoy beach volleyball and football while the children have a separate pool for them. Parco Civico-Ciani, with its tree-lined pathways, flower beds and fountains on the shore of Lake Lugano is only 12 minutes by foot or 4 minutes by car. For incredible views of the lake and the landscape as far as Monte Rosa and the Bernese Alps, it is recommended to hike atop Monte Brè or take the funicular rail. The apartment is also perfect for visiting San Lorenzo Cathedral (11 minutes), Herman Hesse Museum (17 minutes), Swissminiatur (19 minutes), the vineyards of Vico Morcote (29 minutes) and Monte San Salvatore (19 minutes). The town is also known for hosting a number of events and festivals. It is also a great place to explore Swiss cuisine and appreciate its gastronomical evolution. The nearest restaurant, shop and supermarket is a stone’s throw away from the apartment. Malpensa Airport is about 84 kilometers away.
