The 2015 Pub of the year 'Salutation Inn' is half a mile walk away, but there are many other closer Inns to choose from. Market view is a self contained flat within a Manor House built around 1750. It has its own entrance from a cobbled court yard at the rear of the house. There are interconnecting doors to the house which are locked for your privacy. I would also mention that in addition to the bathroom on the second floor there is a small toilet on the first floor. The living room is fitted with a 55in smart TV, with all viewing channels available. Market View is a completely self contained flat. I live in the other part of the house so will be here if you need anything. I think I have thought of everything you may need for your stay, if not, just ask. When I stay in self catered accommodation I always find the kitchen ill equipped, I hope that is not the case here, if I have missed something let me know. The castle and the Jenner museum is at the heart of this historic town. The town is surrounded by country side and the Servern Way is only 2 miles away. Berkeley has two free car parks just a 1 minute walk away. Please use the driveway for loading and unloading only. There are two local taxis here and other companies in Dursley and a more exclusive private hire company. Please be aware that from the ground floor entrance there are stairs to the living room, kitchen, and double bedroom. The super king bedroom and bathroom are on the second floor. Guidebook: Please look at the guide book I have created so you can make the most of your stay, check opening hours and prebook where necessary. Parking: There are two car parks located only a few seconds drive from the property, these are on Marybrooks street and opposite, outside the library. These car parks are 23hr free to stay. You are welcome to use the driveway to load and unload, although we unfortunately cannot allow parking during your stay as there are three other properties and not enough space. COVID Cleaning: When you arrive you may notice that there is a reduced amount of soft furnishings in the property, I apologise for this but this is due to the rotation of fabrics and having to sanitise everything. Access to the property is via a courtyard which is shared by 4 properties and gated. You may choose to use hand sanitiser or wipes when using the shared gate. In addition to the cleaning between each stay, a 'zappitizer' is used to spray all surfaces of the building; this is a droplet spray that kills any bacteria to make your stay even more safe. If you have any questions on our cleaning practice or the products we use, feel free to ask. We have been and continue to follow all guidance issued by the government to ensure the safety of our guests.
