Bea House is located in the centre of Woolton Village, nestled in the leafy suburb of Liverpool. Woolton is surrounded by beautiful parks and gardens and perfect for those that enjoy walking and discovering the history of the area. Good transport facilities, regular bus routes to Liverpool city centre, football stadiums and Hope University. Bars, cafes in abundance. This historic village is famous for its connections to the Beatles, so if you are a fan, this is the perfect location for you. Bea House is a Grade 2 listed Georgian/Victoria property that has recently been totally refurbished. The guest accommodation is light, airy and spacious, with enough room to sit comfortably to relax and/or watch TV. The bedroom leads into its own private dressing room with an adjoining door to the bathroom, which is solely for use of guests. This includes a shower, stand alone bath, wash basin ( soap/shampoo) and toilet. Various teas and coffee supplied. The guest room and amenities are accessed via the front door of the family home. Guests will be given a key to the property. Access to the first floor is via the hall, stairs and landing. Guests are welcomed on arrival and then free to come and go as they please. The guest suite is quiet and very private. Hosts available on arrival and when required (if available). Guests will be given as much information relating to the local area, transport facilities, amenities, local attractions etc as possible. Woolton Village has been described as 'leafy, chilled out and packed with character.' It was the first urban village to win Britain in Bloom and it is where Eleanor Rigby rests her head. The accommodation is within walking distance of a number of restaurants, pubs, takeaways, shops, cafes, supermarkets, churches and even a cinema. There are a number of bus routes into Liverpool City Centre and other areas around Woolton, including Penny Lane. Liverpool John Lennon Airport is approximately three miles away. Liverpool South Parkway (train/bus) is also about three miles away. Parking is available on the road outside the house. Guests need to be aware that there are two family dogs living at the house, Cuba a black lab and Louis a collie. They are very friendly and are not allowed to access the upstairs or guest facilities at any time.
