Apartment No 5 Kirkby Lonsdale

Situated in the heart of the historic market town of Kirkby Lonsdale. Literally on the Market Square above one of the oldest sweet shops in England which was Est 1902 Restaurants , pubs, cafes, shops are all on the doorstep. This lovely apartment is a great base for your holidays or just a weekend away. The apartment is within a listed building so rather quirky, with old wonky doors and the typical creaky floors. Water pressure is not the best but not the worst either. The market town of Kirkby Lonsdale is a charming base for anybody looking to explore both the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales.Ruskin's View is a popular feature in the town and there are a number of walks available.The White Scar Caves at Ingleton are a short drive away while further afield why not visit the delights of Windermere and Ambleside? The apartment has a large airy kitchen area with two bar stools and bistro table. Microwave, oven, hob, fridge and freezer. Kettle and toaster. Lounge with two sofas and a dining table and tv. Wifi Two bedrooms both with king size beds. Bathroom with shower over bath. The lounge/ diner has windows overlooking the Market Square. We have the listing set to 2 night minimum but we occasionally end up with a odd day on its own so please do message if you only want one night and we will try to accommodate you. We do not accept children as it isn't suitable. You have access to the full apartment. There is just one locked cupboard in the bathroom , this is our private storage area and must not be forced open. We have no parking but there is a car park directly opposite on Market Square. Available to answer any queries Lovely location, right in the heart of Kirkby Lonsdale. Bus stop just on the Market Square. There is no parking with the apartment but there is a carpark directly opposite on Market Square. You can park there overnight (apart from Wednesday night as there is a Market on the Square every Thursday) Just up the hill there is a longer stay carpark. Unfortunately no children or Pets as the property really is not suitable. This is as advertised Self catering , we do supply towels , tea towel, dishwasher cloth, washing up liquid and bedding We also leave some tea, coffee and sugar sachets for your first day.
