French Escapes-Maison De Tourelle

My favourite part of this property is the 13th century stone spiral staircase giving access to all the rooms across 3 levels and then the top of the tower on the 4th level. Its full of character with beamed ceilings, and an open fireplace. There are 3 bedrooms in total and there are bed spaces for up to 8 people. You have your own independent access to this 3 bedroom house. If you need more accommodation you can also rent the second property at half price. The properties can be rented individually or together. During the COVID Pandemic we will only be letting 1 house at a time, unless it is the same group that is renting both houses. This will allow social distancing, a safer environment for you, and time for the houses to air on changeovers with more time for a deeper clean. The garden are and pool are for your exclusive use during your stay whether you rent just one or both houses. We live on site but have our own independent garden and entrance. So we are on hand if you need us but equally we do not intrude if you appreciate your privacy The village of Salles is a quiet location next to the River Cerou. There are no amenities in the village itself but they are available nearby in Monesties (5km) or Cordes (9km). There is a bread van that visit the village at lunchtime on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. There is a restaurant next door. This is currently a pizza takeaway during COVID 19. A car is essential to get the best out of your stay. The nearest train stations are at Cordes-Vindrac or Carmaux. There are buses into Albi from Cordes, and there are bus stops in the village served by the Tarn bus, but this is not a frequent service. A small welcome basket will be provided. Cleaning materials will be available. Bed linen and tea towels will be provided and freshly laundered before your arrival. If you prefer to bring your own bed linen please let me know. Towels can be provided at a small extra charge of 10€ per person.
