Nut Cottage - Pentewan Valley

Nut Cottage is a traditional stone built cottage nestled in the wooded valley of Pentewan. The cottage was refurbished in April 2021 and sleeps 4. On the ground floor is a well-equipped kitchen with appliances and utensils including oven, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster which leads into a cosy living room with sofa (sofa bed) and 50 inch smart tv. There is also air conditioning and good wifi throughout the property. We welcome 2 dogs in the cottage free of charge. Pentewan village is 1.5 miles away 25 min walk or 10 min bike ride. (there is also a car park in the village if you prefer to drive) Nut Cottage has easy access to the Pentewan cycle trail which takes you in to the village. In the village there is a small shop, restaurant, pub, tea room and a beautiful sandy beach with water sport hire and also cycle hire for the Pentewan trail. We have The Polgooth Inn within walking distance and the Rebellion roasthouse & moonshine bar within Sun Valley resort which is next door. The cottage is 3 miles from the historic fishing harbour of Mevagissey. You can also get the ferry from Mevagissey to Fowey an ancient harbour town wonderful shops, restaurants and art galleries. Eden Project only 15 miniute drive, Lost Gardens of Heligan is also close by. There are several beaches and gardens, superb coastal walking and Roseland Peninsula to discover. The cottage has a secure driveway with spaces for 2 cars. We have an out house for bike storage, hanging space for wetsuits and space for dogs to dry off and a private garden with bbq.
