Our Place: pool access, self contained granny flat

This private, renovated, self contained space is under our family home. It has a private entrance & includes a bedroom with queen bed, ceiling fan, bathroom, kitchenette ( microwave, plugin hot plates, jug, toaster, small fridge) and living room. The living area can be converted to a 2nd bedroom with a double wall bed. The futon sofa converts to a small double, cot & toddler mattress available on request. Outside is a shared alfresco area & swimming pool. Shared washing machine also outside. The space is a renovated area beneath our family home. It is fully self contained with its own private entrance. A large living room opens out thru sliding doors onto a covered patio with pool and garden views. There is also shared access to a large back yard, cubby house, trampoline and swing. Inside, the living room joins to a small kitchenette (no cook top) and laundry, and a bedroom with ceiling fan, very comfortable queen bed and large built in wardrobe. Off the kitchen is the bathroom, with toilet and shower (no bath). As the kitchen is the central room, the living room can be converted and used as a second bedroom with access to the bathroom. There is a fold down double wall bed and a small double sofa bed. Toddler mattress and port-a-cot are also available on request. Our Place in nestled in a residential street in Redlands Alexandra Hills. Redlands may not be on the regular tourist trail but is a well kept secret with many fantastic places to visit; Wellington Point, Cleveland, North Stradbroke Island, and Sirromet winery to start. Alexandra hills is 10min to the beaches and parks of Wellington point and Cleveland, 15min to Sirromet winery, 25min from the airport and Brisbane CBD, 45min to Gold Coast theme parks, 60min to Gold Coast beaches, and 1-1 1/2hr to Sunshine Coast. Guests are welcome to access all the ground floor areas. They will have private access to inside and shared access to outside. They have a private front entrance and will be issued with a key for the duration of the stay. We live upstairs so are available to answer questions and provide information. We have two young girls who sometimes like to play downstairs. However we can give you as much privacy as you need. Personal transport is preferable. Set in the middle of the Redlands with easy access to Southern Morton Bay. There is an extensive network of mountain biking trails a short bike away. Beaches, cafes and restaurants of Wellington Point and Cleveland are a 10min drive away. Cleveland also provides access to stunning North Stradbroke Island. Famous Sirromet winery is 15m away. Brisbane airport and CBD are both a 25m drive and the Gold Coast theme parks are 45m. Shopping malls at Capalaba are 5m away. Driving preferable. Buses are available, closest stop 10 min walk at the Alexandra Hills shopping mall and closest train station is Wellington point or Ormiston. Brisbane airport is 25min drive.
