The studio apartments overlook the private pool which is shared with other guests staying at Spileo House as is the ample lounging area around the pool with sunbeds, umbrellas and fresh towels which are laid out daily for guests use. There is also a fully equipped BBQ with ample seating, a fridge and a bathroom facility all adjacent to the pool. The reception area has not only ample reading material for guests in a variety of languages but information on local facilities, amenities, shops, bars and restaurants. With wonderful views of the Ionian Sea, these newly constructed modern studios are located in a rural and relaxing setting with small coves, bars and traditional Greek Tavernas all within a short drive from our location. Messonghi village, which is a five minute drive from our location, has a lovely sandy beach where sun loungers and umbrellas are provided. A wide variety of supermarkets, coffee shops, Tavernas and a bakery can all be found at this neighbouring resort. A little further on is the popular resort of Moraitika with its sandy beaches, shops and supermarkets, bars and restaurants, all within a ten to fifteen minute drive from Spileo House. Spileo House is part of an established two hour circular walk which takes you through olive groves, a traditional village and church, with breath-taking views of Messonghi, Moraitika and the mountain of Aghios Matheos. The capital city of Corfu is located approximately half an hour by car from Spileo House where both the airport and the main port are located not to mention the wide variety of shops and facilities one can enjoy there. As off-road private parking is provided to the rear of the gated property, parking is never a problem. Regarding public transport, a regular service is found in both Messonghi (approximately 850 metres away) and in Moraitika ( about 1 kilometre away at the roundabout). Buses take passengers to both Corfu town (located north of the property) and to the south of the island to the areas of St George, Lefkimmi and Cavos. Guests are greeted at the property on their arrival and given keys and access code to the gated property at that time. The studio is fully equipped with all modern appliances and comforts to ensure a pleasant stay and staff are available on a daily basis to assist guests. Sheets and towels are changed once per week and fresh towels are provided for use by the pool. Guests are also provided with a lightweight robe and slippers plus a hairdryer on request. Bottled water, tea, coffee, sugar and milk are provided for guests initial arrival with a wide variety of shops and supermarkets to be found within a ten minute drive of the property where guests can do their shopping.
