Langhe Country House "I Pioppi"

Camera di charme in un tipico cascinale di metà ‘700 in cui condividere la passione per questa splendida terra, Patrimonio dell’Unesco, in uno dei Borghi più belli d'Italia, Neive (CN). Siamo a 4 km da Barbaresco, 13 km da Alba e 25 km da Barolo. La nostra casa di campagna si trova a Neive e sorge su un terreno di proprietà di circa 3 ettari prevalentemente coltivato a vite, noci e noccioli. La parte destinata alle camere, alla sala colazione e cucina è esposta a Sud-Est, mentre la nostra abitazione si trova al piano superiore dell’ala opposta, quella con le arcate, ovvero l’antico fienile. La ristrutturazione è stata effettuata nel pieno rispetto degli elementi costruttivi e dei materiali tipici della tradizione piemontese e della struttura originaria. Il cascinale, denominato “Podere Palaretto”, come si legge sull’epigrafe in marmo collocata su una delle facciate, si trova a circa due chilometri dal nucleo storico di Neive. Volevamo trasmettere a chiunque ami le Langhe, il Roero e il Monferrato, o semplicemente sia desideroso di scoprire questo territorio, tutto il fascino che ci ha spinto ad investire in questa nuova avventura. Le camere, di circa 30 mq ciascuna, rispecchiano il concetto di architettura tradizionale, design moderno e massimo comfort, legati ad un’ospitalità personalizzata e discreta. La maggior parte delle camere è dotata di caminetto a legna, voltine in mattoni e vista sui vigneti e noccioleti circostanti, di un ampio bagno e di una zona relax esterna in cui potrete sorseggiare un buon calice di Nebbiolo. Tutte unite dall’armonia tra funzionalità moderna e calore della tradizione. Molti pezzi sono stati scelti con cura nei mercatini dell’antiquariato piemontese o pensati trasformando la classica funzione in una alternativa. E’ una stanza luminosa ma intima, in stile Scandinavian country, con due poltrone, un ampio bagno dotato di vasca e doccia. Dispone di accesso completamente indipendente dal giardino antistante. Our country house is located in Neive, one of the most beautiful villages of Italy, on a 3 hectares property mainly cultivated with vine, walnut and hazelnut. The guest rooms, the breakfast room and the kitchen are facing south-east, whereas our family lives in the opposite wing, the one with arcades that used to be the hay loft, on the first floor. The renovation works have been carried out in full respect of the building elements and materials typical of the piedmont tradition and the original structure. The farmstead, denominated “Podere Palaretto”according to the inscription on marble to be found on one of the facades, is 2km away from the historic center of Neive. Our ambition is to share with all of you who love Langhe, Roero and Monferrato or wishes to discover these territories, the fascination that drove us into this new adventure. THE ROOMS The rooms, around 30 sqm, each, reflect the concept of traditional architecture, modern design and maximum comfort, linked to customized and discreet hospitality. Most of the rooms are equipped with fireplace, red brick ceilings and view on the surrounding vineyards and walnuts, a wide bathroom and an external area where you can relax tasting a good glass of Nebbiolo wine. The harmony of modern functionality and traditional warmth is guaranteed. Many pieces have been selected from the Piedmont antique markets or transformed from the classical function into an alternative one. ROOM "I PIOPPI" On the ground floor, with views on three sides, it dominates the landscape of the hills of the Langhe. It is a bright room, but a warm, calm and peaceful space in Scandinavian country style, with two armchairs, a large bathroom with bathtub and shower. Completely independent access from the garden. Vi accoglieremo con una prima colazione ricca di prodotti del territorio, a km 0 e possibilmente aderenti al circuito Slow Food, con possibilità di coniugare dolce e salato: torte di nocciole e crostate, biscotti tipici (baci, brutti e buoni), croissant, marmellate, frutta di stagione, formaggi dell’Alta Langa (Raschera d’alpeggio, Castelmagno, Robiola di Roccaverano), affettati... All’interno della stanza colazioni alcuni divanetti caratterizzano la zona relax e accoglienza e la sala lettura. Nella cucina adiacente è possibile organizzare corsi di cucina tradizionale piemontese su prenotazione. E' possibile richiedere l'utilizzo della cucina la sera con l'aggiunta di un piccolo sovraprezzo (20 € a camera). Indiscutibilmente, le colline dalle quali è possibile ammirare lo stupendo paesaggio ed il panorama, sono giustamente decantate come elemento positivo di un soggiorno nelle Langhe, Roero e Monferrato. Proponiamo internamente la locazione di biciclette per i percorsi cicloturistici, ad esempio gli itinerari della Strada Romantica . Inoltre, la Cascina è la base ideale per tour in Vespa o Fiat Cinquecento cabrio, alla scoperta di antichi borghi e splendidi paesaggi naturali. A breve distanza è inoltre possibile praticare il Golf, immergersi nei boschi delle Langhe e del Roero alla ricerca del “Tartufo Bianco d’Alba” accompagnati da esperti "Trifolao", oppure provare l'emozione di un volo in mongolfiera per apprezzare alcuni fra i migliori panorami che il Piemonte può offrire.
