Charming stone cottage in picturesque Lot Valley

Our skillfully restored cottage, set in wonderful countryside, offers comfort, tranquility and everything you will need to make your holiday memorable. The cottage is located in a small hamlet with no through traffic so guests are assured of peace and quiet. There is private parking. It is close to many beautiful villages and the River Lot where visitors may swim and canoe. In the comfortably furnished lounge there is a woodburner, wifi and satellite TV with British and Continental channels We bought La Maison du Four as a ruin and our son completely renovated it, maintaining many of its original features while providing unique open plan accommodation of the highest standard. Our cottage offers two double bedrooms each with ensuite shower/bath, wc and handbasin. Bedroom 1 has a vaulted ceiling with original beams and views south and west. Bedroom 2 opens on to a small terrace with table and chairs. Outside, we offer a large terrace with BBQ, table and chairs. Sunloungers are also available. We live close by and are always available should the need arise. The hamlet of Lagarrigue where our cottage is situated, is secluded and offers wonderful walks, abundant wildlife and beautiful views. It is possible to swim and canoe on the nearby River Lot. The area boasts many of the Plus Beaux Villages de France, especially Conques. The local village has an excellent restaurant - La Terrasse, and a well stocked shop with a bar and post office.
