18th Century Gite

Whether you are looking for an active holiday or a relaxing break, Les Chouettes is a perfect place to base your holiday. With so much to offer in the surrounding area you won't be short of things to do, and for those days when you just want to stay on site, we have a lovely pool over looking the countryside, to relax by. We are on hand to help should you need us, and are happy to provide information, help you make reservations or even join you for a glass of wine if you fancy some company! This is the largest of our gites with an open plan living space with a mezzanine floor. The gite has a double bedroom with en-suite and a second bedroom also with en-suite with two or three single beds depending on guests needs. There is also a large sofa bed on the mezzanine floor with an easy one pull action taking the bed to a sofa and back again. Guests has their own private garden as well as use of the swimming pool and boule court. We live on site and are always happy to help. There are a number of good restaurants in and around the surrounding area, plenty of activities to take part in from adventure parks to water sports and beaches. If you like sightseeing there are plenty of chateaus to visit, markets to explore and a number of historical sites of interest including Oradour sur glane. Montemboeuf is walking distance with local shops.
