There's plenty to keep you occupied and for those rainy days, Trago Mills / Play Zone, Trampolining & Cyfarthfa Retail Park is a 7 min drive away, offering an exciting leisure experience for the entire family. A spacious house where family, friends & colleagues can gather or simply relax after a day exploring the historic & breath-taking sights. The accommodation has an open plan lounge / dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, separate utility room / Bike Storage area, 32 inch Freesat TV, DVD player & complimentary Superfast Fibre internet. There are 3 bedrooms, (double room, triple room & a single room that has a velux window). The Travel Cot, high chair & changing mat is available on request only. Complimentary Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Cooking oil, Vinegar, Salt & Pepper are provided for guest use. For cycling guests visiting Bike Park Wales, there is an external tap & hose to wash down your bikes plus 6 external bike stands. Guests may bring clean dry bikes into the tiled area only. There is a wall hung bike rack in the utility room that holds 2 bikes, 2 more bikes can be stored directly below, and there is a Topeak freestanding Bike stand for 2 bikes in the kitchen area. The onsite parking is located at the top of the rear garden, (you may have enough space for 2 Small cars with a bit of patient clever maneuvering). The rear garden area is partially covered with grass. Access to rear parking is at the end of a short narrow lane. Care needs to be taken driving down the dead end lane and when entering into the rear entrance gates, (See photos of parking area). NOTE: Turn in from rear Lane may not be suitable for larger, cars, longer vehicles / Commercial vans etc, additional roadside parking may also be available in side streets, subject to availability. There 2 X 20W PIR Floodlights to illuminate access into the property at night. Entire house and gardens via either front or rear access I am just a phone call away for assistance Welcome to Merthyr Tydfil a Town that’s rich in history and the gateway to the breath-taking scenery of the Famous Brecon Beacons National Park . Visit the many historic attractions such as Cyfarthfa Park, Cyfarthfa Castle Museum & Art Gallery, Joseph Parry's Cottage and ride on the Brecon Mountain Railway. For guests interested in the 'great outdoors' there are many activities from walks along the Taff Trail, Downhill Mountain biking at Bike Park Wales, Climbing to the peak of Pen Y Fan South Wales highest Mountain or visiting one of the many outdoors Centres such as Garwnant or Dolygaer. Cardiff the Vibrant Welsh Capital & the Waterfront City of Swansea is just a 30 & 40 Minute drive. There is a lively pub called The New Crown that offers great food and has live Music on the Weekend. (Hill to the front is quite steep). There is a sizeable drive at the rear of the property. Care needs to be taken when coming down the narrow lane. Might not be suitable for larger or commercial vehicles as you'll enter the drive at an angle at the end of a dead end lane.
