The artist's house, free entrance

The accommodation is a small townhouse, with an independent entrance, consisting of a kitchen / living room on the first floor, a double bedroom, a small bedroom and a bathroom on the second floor. The house is completely restored and you can enjoy a view. The castle is foreseen in the old part of the town. The environment is rustic and very nice, the kitchen floor is wood. It is possible to have a small wooden bed available on request. Guests can use the basic equipment to cook and stay comfortably, including sheets and towels. It is the ideal place to relax, take walks and enjoy the beauty of the Tuscan countryside. The nearest sea place (Tirrenia or the Livorno coast of Romito) is about 45 min. Cities of art such as Pisa, Florence and Siena are close and reachable in 35/50 min. Guests are included in the entire apartment, including the subscale of the external access staircase, where the washing machine is located I will personally take care of the check in every day from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) excluding Tuesday and Thursday. At different times it will be possible to carry out the automatic check with a combination keybox. I will be at the complete disposal of the guests by phone, via (Hidden by Airbnb) or email for questions or advice on how to optimize their stay. In Ghizzano Village there are a bar/food shop (open all days, included Sunday morning) and a bakery. Ghizzano farm produces organic and biodinamic wine and oil and it is possible to buy directly these products. On Sunday's afternon is possible to visit for free the Venerosi Pescioin garden, made in Italian style. One of the three street of Ghizzano village (Via di Mezzo) was been recently installed by three important contemporary artists, between them David Tremlett, who realized in Ghizzano the only street of the Europe completely painted on hs project. Parking is not avaliable close to the house, because the house is in the antic part of the village. You can park the car close to the house just to unload luggage. A large parking is avaliable for free at 5 minutes on foot from the house, close to the open palygrond at the beginning of the village. Ghizzano is between the provinces of Pisa, Florence and Siena. It's located: 35 minutes from Volterra, 40 minutes from S. Gimignano, 15 minutes from Via Francigena. Nearby (3 km:) there are Borgo of Castelfalfi and also the Gerusalemme Liberata of the S. Vivaldo Abbey. Pisa Airport is around 45 minutes, the nearest train station is Pontedera / Casciana Terme (20 mnutes). The nearest hospital is also in the town of Pontedera (20 minutes). Florence can be reached in about one hour by car or by train from Pontedera / Casciana Terme station. Guests will have a small food kit available to cook from the moment they arrive: oil, salt, chillies, sugar, coffee, herbal teas and a couple of bottles of natural mineral water. The same applies to liquid soap, shampoo, toilet paper and basic bath devices, as well as, of course, detergents for dishes and floors. All personal detergents and detergents are organic.
