Dear Guests, welcome! This little apartment is bright and tranquil gem hidden in small fisherman's village called Kakrc - a cluster of old stone houses, laying on the one of the best spots between Boka Bay and Adriatic Sea, where the most popular seaside towns are within easy reach. A really calm, hidden area with unbelievable views, scents and sunsets. If you like these joys, this is a place for you to be! The apartment is located in an old fisherman’s village called Kakrc, a hidden jewel located at the best position in The Bay of Boka Kotorska. The village itself is a part of cultural heritage protected by the Institute of Architecture. The village never had any inhabitants in the true sense of the word, since the owners did not actually live there, but were locals whose residential houses stood just a few miles uphill. They used those small houses for storage of their homemade wine and their fishing nets, as well as the oars for their boats called “barke”. The houses would usually have straw beds, so that the fishermen could take naps after long fishing nights. In the last few decades things began to change – most houses were reconstructed and converted into paying guest houses whose visitors would instantly fall in love with this truly amazing place. It has been said that a Russian astronaut, Alexey Leonov, saw Kakrc during his space flight and instantly knew this was a place where he wanted to build a house. And so he did. The locals selfishly kept this place hidden from the eyes of tourists for years trying to prevent their overflow. They even refused to ease the access by letting the cars get closer to the village and insisted on keeping this jewel nice and quiet as it always has been. The apartment itself is quite small, but it's ideal for couples. It is not luxurious, so if you're looking for a jacuzzi or 50-inch plasma TV you won't find it here (actually from 2019. there is a 50-inch TV). The ground floor is very simple as there is only a kitchen and a small bathroom (it has been renovated in 2016), and the upper floor is basically a bedroom with a balcony. The guests will be able to access the whole little apartment and a terrace in front of it. And, of course, all the surrounding area. I'll do my best to always be there for you whenever you need something. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. Public transport is limited to a local bus that is not very frequent and to taxi service. However, bus station is about 150 meters away and the bus can easily take you to the Tivat downtown. Having your own car or renting one is highly recommended. Guests park their car on the street that is about 70 meters from the apartment uphill. It is safe to park there (we never heard any of our guests had any negative experience). There is no parking. People park their car on the street that is about 70 meters from the apartment uphill. It is safe to park there (we never heard any of our guests had any negative experience). You will have to walk a steep, narrow road for those 70 meters until you reach the apartment. Please note that I had to inform you about this, but honestly it's nothing that you have to worry about.
