Casa LuMen, Vittorio Veneto: a home with a view
This apartment is my 'nest' in my hometown. The light is a key feature of this apartment, hence the name Casa LuMen. The wood and the stone are other key features of this house. The two bathrooms dialogue with the facade of the Church of San Michele Arcangelo. Casa LuMen is located at the heart of 'la gioisa marca', the department of Treviso, near the prosecco hills, UNESCO heritage, and near cities like Conegliano, Treviso and Pordenone. The apartment is centrally located. You can walk to the Train station from LuMen, but you can also walk to Serravalle, with its wonderful Piazza Flaminio, or to Ceneda. You can also take a walk in the woods, direction San Martino's castle or challenge yourself, and reach the Monte Altare (with the white cross) You will enjoy the full apartment, you can use my kitchen and everything you find there (except for clothing :-) ). In the shower there is also a turkish bath or hammam. I will not be there, but I am available to support you via phone or email. For any need or emergency, please call me or contact me. The quartier of San Michele Salsa (or simply Salsa) is a quite old 'borgo' which is now centrally located. You can enjoy there the peace and charme of a quite green area, close to the woods; if you prefer the city, then you can enjoy shops, bars and also art and culture, with Villa Croze and the many interesting musea of the city (Museo del Cenedese in Serravalle, or the Museo della Battaglia, in Ceneda) In Vittorio Veneto: walking or by car. From LuMen you walk to the train station in 5'. In the surroundings: Conegliano, Treviso, Venezia and Belluno can be reached by train ( (Website hidden by Airbnb) for schedules). For the surroundings, such as 'prosecco hills', Cansiglio Natural Reserve or the 'Marca Gioiosa', ie, Treviso's department, a car is strongly advised.
