If the border to Italy or Aosta is closed for COVID-19 reasons and you cannot legally reach the chalet we will also honor a full refund. However, we will not refund guests due to new quarantine requirements in the home country or district or if they do not meet the testing or vaccination requirements required to enter the Aosta Valley. Thank you and stay safe! Recently renovated to the highest standard, this luxury chalet has over 400 sq meters of living space. It has eight bedrooms that can comfortably sleep 18 guests. Only a two minute drive from the chalet to the start of the Salette gondola which gives you easy access to Valtournenche, Cervinia, and Zermatt and over 360 km of linked pistes. The chalet is walking distance to the main square of Valtournenche with its charming restaurants and shops, although you may never choose to leave the comforts of the house. The main floor contains a gourmet kitchen with oven, range, microwave, large American style refrigerator, two sinks, two dishwashers, instant hot water, and filtered and sparkling water from the taps. A breakfast corner offers a Nespresso coffee maker and toaster. A large dining table and small breakfast bar complete the kitchen. The main living room is divided by an open fireplace with seating on one side and a TV snug on the other, and opens onto a large terrace with beautiful mountain views. The second floor holds two separate master suites with king size beds, each with ensuite bathrooms, There are two more bedrooms on this floor with two single beds in each room that share a large bathroom. The top floor has a large king size bedroom plus another cozy bedroom with two single beds. These two rooms share a large family bathroom. The lowest floor opens onto the lower terrace and features an additional small kitchen with refrigerator, range and oven, full bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and bidet. There is another living room and dining room and TV and DVD player on this floor. There are two more bedrooms - one, a queen size and the second a bunk room that sleeps four people. A laundry room with double washing machines and driers, along with a ski and boot room with boot drying rack round out the lower level. For an additional fee Chalet staff can be provided.
