Set on a small traditional sheep farm in the heart of North Wales – This magnificent self-contained room is part of a lovely farmhouse set in 25 acres of beautiful countryside close to the village of Dolwen. Only 5 minutes from the A55 expressway Pen Cefn is a perfect base for exploring North Wales and Snowdonia National Park. There are nearby castles, outdoor activities, mountains and miles of beautiful coastline. Anglesey, Conwy, Llandudno the Great Orme and Chester are all within easy reach. The self-contained room benefits from its own private entrance and can accommodate 2 people – twin or double option available. The room is modernly furnished and benefits from an en-suite bathroom with shower area, basin, WC and complimentary toiletries. Towels are also provided and are changed every 2 days. Additionally, the room is equipped with a wall mounted flat screen TV/DVD, kettle and complimentary tea and coffee. There is also a small fridge to store any food provisions you may wish to bring - Wi-fi is also included. The outdoor area includes a small patio dining table and chairs to enjoy the wonderful countryside views. Ample parking is also included. A breakfast bag can be ordered in advance at a cost of £2.50 PP – to include a bottle of orange juice, fresh muffin, a cereal box and cereal bar, milk is an additional £1 and will be enough for both breakfasts. Pen Cefn is owned and run by husband and wife – Medwyn and Kerri, who love nothing more than the great outdoors. Medwyn and Kerri offer you a friendly, first class service that will make your stay as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. They will always be on hand to offer advice about nearby attractions, eateries, watering holes and much more. Around the farm Medwyn and Kerri will be seen looking after the new born lambs, sheep, ducks and free-range chickens – helped by their friendly Labrador Winnie. Kerri is also a keen gardener and enjoys planting and cultivating her own fruit and veg. One of Pen Cefn’s most exciting times in the farming calendar is lambing season –Medwyn and Kerri are more than happy to share this experience with you (January – March only) With its rolling countryside, secluded location and cosy interior Pen Cefn offers the perfect getaway.
