In our Garden Studios you will find a Queen bed with plump pillows and feather duvet, an ensuite bathroom with complimentary toiletries and hairdryer, and a window divan bed overlooking our gardens, perfect for relaxing after a big day and reading a good book. There is also a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle along with fresh milk for tea and coffee. The private balcony is a perfect spot to enjoy one of our continental breakfast trays in the morning. There are no TVs in the Garden Studios. The Church Garden Studios are part of The Church Accommodation complex which is a quiet and private garden-filled space. Minutes from Hahei Beach and walking distance to Cathedral Cove, it is perfectly located to enjoy the area but feel peaceful and private when you want to retreat. We will be here to help you with finding great things to do and Coromandel must-dos of the area such as Hotwater Beach, Cathedral Cove, New Chums Beach, Te Karo Bay, Kayaking, The Hahei Explorer, The Ocean Leopard Boat Tours and much more. You have booked a Garden Studio complete with Queen Size bed, ensuite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, 1 designated carpark and a private balcony. You will have also have access to a guest laundry (for a fee), guest lounge, complete with free library/book exchange, DVDs, board games and SKY TV, as well as all the common areas such as the guest BBQ and verandah and gardens. The Church Accommodation reception is staffed for certain hours of the working day but we are always available by phone using the phone number posted on the wall outside reception. We are usually not more than five minutes away if needed. The Church Bistro is a fine dining restaurant onsite, however, as they operate separately from us it is always best to make your way to reception to call us from there. Hahei Village is a quiet seaside village of 300 people in the winter which swells in the summer to almost 12,000 at its peak and as such you won't find a large supermarket, or very many eating establishments. We suggest you visit a supermarket before arriving if you wish to stay for a few days, or plan a trip to our largest local town Whitianga during your stay. Hahei is a fairly remote place and it is always a good idea to have your own transport. If you are without your own transport then the Intercity bus delivers you to Whitianga and if you ask the driver sometimes they can arrange a shuttle to pick you up from a place called Dalmeny corner to bring you the 10kms from the main State Highway 25 to Hahei. There are a few Taxi and shuttle companies operating in the area to take you on tours or just for transport and we can recommend Sandshifters, Coromandel Adventures, and Go Kiwi Shuttles. For sightseeing we highly recommend taking the Cathedral Cove Kayaking trip to see the stunning Cathedral Cove or one of the Ocean Leopard or Hahei Explorer Boat Tours. We have spades available for digging your own natural spa at Hotwater Beach and beach towels available, free of charge. The shuttle bus that takes you to the start of the Cathedral Cove Walking track leaves from directly behind our property so you can leave your car onsite after you arrive. (N.B The shuttle bus operates from 31 October to 31 April)
