Tranquil Family Retreat in Akaroa

A perfect family destination or quiet get-away for one or more! This cute cottage has all the enjoyable necessities for a great break away. Set on park-like grounds with room to run & play, while surrounded by vast native bush, you soon get the feeling of being miles away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still only a stones throw from the renowned Akaroa beach, cafes & shops and amazing restaurants. Enjoy long evenings on the veranda with a BBQ, family & friends! Three comfortable bedrooms rooms provide the following layout; Bedroom One: Queen Bed Bedroom Two: King Bed Bedroom Three: Single Bunks & a king single bed There is also a port-a-cot & mattress available upon request. Each room has its own blankets, duvets and heaters. The maximum number of people permitted per booking is 7 total - this is to be no more than 5 adults due to the bunks only being suitable for children. IF you have a request for more than 7 people, then this needs to be discussed prior to confirming your booking. This cottage is also home to a fully equipped kitchen, with microwave, oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Set on a mostly flat piece of section with driveway to the house makes this property relatively easily accessible for most. Extras: Cleaning - $65 per stay Linen - because we are a holiday home, you will be required to bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels). Alternatively you may hire this at $20 / person for the duration of your stay. Please advise us if you require this when you make your booking. You will have access to the whole cottage - kitchen, living, lounge, three bedrooms and bathroom, plus the vast outdoor space to enjoy! We are always available via mobile or can be emailed (which are cleared daily). Once your booking is secured we will email you with all appropriate contact information. If you're after a bit more of the Peninsula, hop in the car an take one of the many Tourist Drives around the area - visit Pigeon Bay, Hickory Bay, Okains Bay, Barrys Bay (for great cheese) or pop into some of the gorgeous local wineries all only minutes away. Akaroa is 1.5 hours from Christchurch City, and has a regular mini-bus service operating between Christchurch City, and both the International and Domestic airports if you’re arriving from another city.
