Character cottage arranged over 3 floors, situated just a 5 minute walk from Bridgend town centre. The house is a traditional welsh cottage, set in the Newcastle Hill conservation area. 3 bedrooms, lounge/diner, study, kitchen, bathroom and a downstairs loo, our quirky house is perfect for families/friends and professionals alike. With wifi and washing and drying facilities, as well as easy access to the beaches of Porthcawl, and some fantastic walks to Ogmore Castle and Merthyr Mawr etc. The house also has its own garden arranged on 3 levels, complete with full size, Kettle smoker BBQ and patio furniture for al-fresco dining. Parking is free and plentiful, and the house is within a short train journey (20mins) to Cardiff and Swansea, so really well located for concerts or rugby/football games! There's also a wealth of things to do in the area, you'll find an info pack at the house, but there's everything from beaches, to castles, to botanic gardens, a trampolining park and a tonne of museums. There is a full kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher etc. You'll also find all the store cupboard staples in the cupboards for you to help yourself to. You'll find The castle 2 mins down the road, and its really quiet and peaceful. Yet a 5 minute stroll down the hill to Bridgend you'll find the town centre, with its bars, restaurants and shopping. Free on street parking 10 minute walk to Bridgend Train Station. This is an old house, so the stairs are quite narrow and steep, please bare this in mind if you have small children or are elderly. Also the decking on the lower level of the garden can get slippy when wet so be careful We do not allow bookings with pets
