Set on a little patch of epic coast in the so-called forgotten corner of Cornwall, this beachside beauty wraps you in complete luxury whilst you soak in those breath-taking far reaching sea views. Found in the pretty hamlet of Portwrinkle, the beach, historic harbour and coastal walks are a mere stone's throw away, as is the Whitsand Bay golf course for those who want to put their handicap to the test. Want to indulge in some good old Cornish hospitality? The village pub is a 10 minute stroll up the hill. You'll while away your days gathered in the open plan living-room with bi-folding doors so you can soak in that view, relaxing on the balconies enjoying a good holiday read, lazing in the hot tub on the roof terrace with the ultimate bird's eye view of this most stunning of settings or enjoying fun-filled hours on the local beaches – it is quite magical. (Website hidden by Airbnb) Ground floor entry into this luxurious haven is via a key which will be held in the coded key box to the right of the front door. With space enough for 2 cars in the allocated area in front of the unit, its never been easier to make the trip down with the whole family. The front door opens into the spacious entrance foyer where you can leave your coats and change your boots for something a bit more comfortable (in winter a pair of complimentary, slippers are provided) before exploring the rest of the house. Down the entrance hall and to your left is the lift which accesses the 1st and 2nd floors, something that is a blessing if you struggle with mobility, lots of shopping or are simply too tired for the stairs. To your right you will find a fantastic games room, with full size ping pong table and football table meaning that the kids can be pulled off the sofa on those more blustery days. There is also a rack to leave wet-suits and room for your boards and bikes. Access to the utility room is also through the games room and this is where you will find the washing machine and clothes drying facilities as well as the cleaning equipment that you may need during your stay. On the first floor and along the carpeted hall, lie three of the five bedrooms. The master, at the far end has a comfortable king size bed with a sea view to go to sleep to and wake up to and its own balcony. The en-suite bathroom has a large freestanding bath and hand held shower. Bedroom two, consists of a comfy double bed and bedroom three has a zip and link bed which means it can be made into either two singles or one king sized bed. These two rooms share the second, or family bathroom which has both a stand-alone shower and a bath. Both these bedrooms also have sliding doors to balconies facing out onto the ocean. The second floor opens on to a spacious open plan living and kitchen area with sliding bi-folding doors leading onto the balcony and the stunning ocean views. You may find that this beautiful room is where you will spend most of your time. It is tastefully decorated and light and airy, which makes you feel that you are outside in the open air, whilst having all your creature comforts around you. There are large sofas, a coffee table, 60 inch television a dining table and large kitchen equipped with but not limited to a 5 ring induction hob and oven, microwave combi, coffee cafetière and percolator, also a large fridge/freezer and kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery and pots and pans. Also on this floor is the 4th bedroom with double bed and adjoining bathroom (Large shower and toilet). Up the stairs to the 3rd and top floor is a snug room with a comfortable 3 function day bed which acts as a sofa and can be pulled out to make a king size bed, sleeping one or two extra guests. There is a 55 inch television and games for all the family. This floor also a bathroom with toilet and shower located next to the snug room. All bathrooms also have toilets and wash basins. To finish, there is a stunning Astroturf covered roof terrace with al-fresco dining area and hot tub. This lovely terrace, accessed by the door on 3rd floor landing, gives you spectacular ocean views and acts as a sun trap for those awesome rays so you can relax on a sun lounger or in the hot tub with a glass of something cold and soak in the beauty of Portwrinkle. The guest have access to the whole house which includes roof terrace, balconies & private garage/games room, except for the plant room downstairs. Which houses the water cylinder & plumbing. Guests are able to find property information, local attractions such as recommended restaurants, pubs & cafes along with recommended walks & days out in our information binder which is in each property. We also have emergency numbers and office details if our guests would like to speak to the team. WIFI password is also found here. Our guests have access to book our masseuse, which can offer our customers a range of treatments while they stay. If you are looking for something really special, then our guests can book our private chef to cater a fine dining experience for them. All information regarding this can be found in our properties. The location of Portwrinkle makes it the ideal place to enjoy some truly wonderful local haunts on its doorstep and we feel you will not want to venture away. Right on the doorstep of your holiday home, Whitsand Bay Golf Club features a perfect cliffside setting for your next game of golf. Whitsand Bay Golf Club is a magnificent cliff top course providing golfers with exceptional panoramic views of Rame Head and even Looe island, hosting some of the most breath-taking holes in the UK. Portwrinkle location - jutting straight out into the Atlantic Ocean, Cornwall is a magnet for swell. Combine this with its milder climate and a host of great beaches and you have the UK’s surf capital. With many surf schools operating through the summer months. From this wonderful location on the Rame peninsula you can enjoy the magic of beautiful seascapes, bays, beaches and coves and endless miles of stunning coastal footpaths. The historic houses and gardens of Mount Edgcumbe and Antony (National Trust) are close by as is the renowned Port Eliot, home of the annual festival and a whole host of events held throughout the year. The charming twinned coastal villages of Kingsand and Cawsand, with their winding streets, pastel coloured cottages and a great choice of places to eat and drink are well worth a visit and for a complete contrast, head to the maritime city of Plymouth to visit the historic Barbican, famous Plymouth Hoe and the city's latest hotspot, The Royal William Yard. There is a bus service which runs to Plymouth, Millbrook, Liskeard, St Germans & torpoint. The bus station is a few minutes walk from the property. The local bus stop in Portwrinkle is called Finnygook beach - Bus: 70B, 75 The last bus to arrive in Portwrinkle is at 22.50 via the 70B The bus service links to train stations from Plymouth, Saltash, Liskeard & St Germans. These trains are nation wide. The closest airports are either Exeter International airport (1 hour drive ) & Newquay Airport (internal flights) which is around a 45 minute drive. Lighting system - The hallways & landings are controlled by a PAR system ( Sensor) The Lift - the lift is operated by the three buttons on the control panel (floor 0,1,2) The lift has no internal door. The lift has a infa-red sensor. The sensor is a safety sensor, this means that if you cross over it stops the lift from moving, to restart the lift just step back & press the floor button again, the lift will start to move again. Please do not overload the lift & do not put bags in the lift with out someone in it.
