Discover the sea-life at low tide in the rock pools. Excellent cycle routes towards Baardskeerdersbos(gravel), The Dam, or back towards Gansbaai. All areas of the house will be accessible, with exception of a storeroom and one of the garages. A mere 2.5 hours beautiful scenic drive from Cape Town International Airport, is Pearly Beach. The beachfront house is in this small, quiet and quaint coastal village. A 20 min walk along the beach-road to the local store have everything you need. A 10 minute walk brings you to the best prawn baskets at the local restaurant - eat as much as you can, while sipping at a local whine or beer. Friendly people, that would gladly show you directions to the close-by artistic town of Baardskeerdersbos, or how to get to the Black Oyster Catcher Wine Cellar. Great Whale watching spots if you get tired of watching whales from the front deck/porch. And a mere 20 minutes drive is the well known White Shark Cage diving companies that will gladly take you out for a lifetime experience to watch these majestic creatures. Bird-watching is great past-time. And off-course you don't even take your towel to the beach if you go for a swim... it's so close. The southernmost point in Africa is Agulhas, a little more than an hour's drive... how many people can say they have been to the most Southern point in Africa? The best is to have a rental car or your own transport, as there is no public transport to Pearly Beach. On prior arrangement, a pick-up and drop-off service can be arranged if you do not want to rent a car. Security alarm is installed, but rarely used - alarm remote will be handed over. If you do feel uncomfortable the security alarm is connected to a local security company on-call. No Television - who needs one with this view?
