Asri in Indonesian language means beautifully chic, leafy and peaceful scenery. Asri Garden Studio is a harmonious hybrid of Japanese and Balinese design. Located at Adelaide beautiful leafy suburb of Kensington Park; only 5 km from city centre. Asri Garden Studio has a complete kitchenette with stove, microwave, and washing machine. Queen size bed, lounge, and dining area. It's equipped with AC reversed cycle, and a Japanese inspired bath and shower. All room have garden view, deck, and warmth of the timber surrounding. Located about 5 km from the cbd of Adelaide, Asri Garden Studio sits nestled on the backyard of my main house. Architecturally designed Asri Garden Studio offers a chance to retreat and relax after the hustle and bustle of city Centre and/or a day exploring trip in the hills or wineries. The surrounding environment is tranquil and peaceful secluded from the main road. AGS is located in the green lush suburb of Kensington Park; on the foot of hillside side of Adelaide, an ideal point for exploring the renowned Adelaide Hills like Sterling, Aldgate, Woodside, Cleland, Hahndorf ,and many others. The Asri Garden Studio is created for chic nomads to enjoy Adelaide. From start to finish, the studio project has been about nature/ garden. A quiet design taking inspiration from Japanese architecture; the design is natural and elegant, using natural materials such as wood on the floor, ceiling and wall of the bathroom, natural lights flooding in from tall glass doors and windows bringing the sunshine and the outside nature in. If you want to experience living in the local home and appreciate a quiet sharing with the hosts this is the place for you. Guests are expected to be considerate of the neighbours when they enter and leave the building. Noise levels need to reduce by 10pm please. The apartment will be clean and tidy when you arrive. This gorgeous Balinese and Japanese inspired cottage is located at the back of my main house, secluded from the main road, with its own private entrance. You will share the backyard with the host, though most likely the host will leave you in your own privacy most of the time. You will be walked through the property upon checking, and a copy of your ID will be shown and photocopied for verification at check in. We will try our best to help with information in the local area. We can share local knowledge about our famous wine regions, cafe and restaurant locations, bush walks, and our best local beaches and sites. After check-in we will leave you in your privacy and basically the studio and the garden is entirely yours to enjoy. Unless, you would like to have our company sometimes. Kensington Park is a beautiful leafy suburb in the eastern part of Adelaide, with beautiful streetscapes, parks, and a walking distance to a vibrant Norwood Shopping precinct.The suburb is a place with many heritage houses with nice gardens; it is a taste of the beautiful Adelaide. Kensington Park is located at the foot of Adelaide hills which are stunning particularly with its Autumn colours. We also value Adelaide's beaches (about 40 minute away you can get to Henley Beach by bus) close proximity to parks for walking and riding bikes, and the city's dining and cultural offerings. For guests who wish to travel away from the city, Kensington Park is close to Hahndorf, Stirling (two beautiful small towns around the Adelaide Hills) and the Cleland Conservation park where you can cuddle the koalas and feed the kangaroos. Of course, the driving to and through Adelaide Hills itself is a pleasant trip to enjoy the beauty of the known Adelaide Hills. South Australia is well known for its wine regions. Close to Adelaide is the Barossa Valley, Adelaide Hills, Clare Valley and McLaren Vale wine regions. The Flinders Ranges and Kangaroo Island offer outstanding natural beauty. Kensington Park is a 30- 35 minute taxi ride to and from the airport. There are bakeries, cafes, and gyms within walking distance. There are a few bus stops to the city nearby and 1 bus stop just a couple of doors away from the property. Parking will be off the street. The Asri Garden Studio is about 15 minutes to the city centre by bus, or you can take a straight walk to the city in about 40 minutes. Going through Magill road you will pass by a strip of antique stores and small boutique home style shops. From the city centre you can take a Glenelg Tram which connects the city with Glenelg beach, another beautiful beach township. 15 minutes and you are at the beach. An easy walk around the CBD will take you to our museums strip on North Terrace, or shopping mall in Rundle Mall, and hop on the free tram in the city to get you to our famous Central Market - a foodies heaven. Free buses in the city (no 99) are also available for you to explore around CBD areas near the city. The hostess will live in the main house but will keep the guests' privacy. Birds love venturing in the tress and bushes of our garden, and at times local possums drop in, also our two cats will be part of the garden too. Cleaning occurs at the end of the stay. For longer stay guests, linen is changed weekly. The apartment is equipped with two ceiling fans and air-condition which are essential on hot days
