The Coach House

The Coach House is a converted 19th century detached stable block. It has its own access and secure parking area (4 cars). It has a very large kitchen/dining room, sitting room with log burning stove, separate cloakroom and wc, 4 bedrooms ( one is on the ground floor) of which 3 are en-suite with a further family bathroom. It lies on the fringe of the village of Abbotskerswell . It is conveniently placed for Exeter, the Moors, Torbay, Salcombe, Dartmouth, Totnes, the preserved steam railways between Paignton and Kingswear and Littlehempston and Buckfastleigh and river cruises down the Dart. There are stunning walks nearby and the nearest beach is just 6 miles away. The village benefits from a shop which sells everything from newspapers to hot pasties and freshly baked bread, a coffee shop/ bistro, a pub and a church all within five minutes walk. There are things to do for all ages Due to Coronavirus I will not see you unless you need me. Fortunately we have had very few cases of Coronavirus in South Devon . We have multiple supermarkets close by which are never busy . You can also have meals delivered and lots of local food and wine companies deliver very promptly including fresh shellfish from Brixham. The village is very quite apart from the odd owl ! The double en-suite bedroom is on the ground floor and is easily accessible for both the elderly and people with some disabilities . There is one pine cot but cot linen is not provided . The kitchen is well equipped with all kitchen utensils and has two fridges, freezer, gas hob , electric fan oven, dishwasher and tumble dryer. The sitting room has a log burner and logs are available. The house has gas central heating .
