Amazing panorama from Villa Ana
Situated in the very center of the medieval village of Sovinjak, Villa Ana lays on the top of a hill surrounded by amazing panorama of istrian hinterland from all sides. That position makes it a perfect shelter from which discover all the beauties of the istrian region. The house was built back in 1856, and was recently restructured with love and time mostly by the owner and his family, in order to preserve all the antique details hidden inside. The building is structured in 3 old style charming levels. In the ground floor there is a kitchen and a living room, access to the private terrace (with all the equipment needed for making a barbecue and enjoy it under the sun) and a small toilet. The double bedrooms are situated on the first and second floor, and they both have a private bathroom. There are also 2 more beds available to the guests. Next to the house there is a friendly restaurant where you can enjoy a fast meal, or just a coffee or cold beer if you are not in the mood too cook or make big plans for the day. The surrounding area is full of untouched nature, and it's perfect for long panorama walks or bike rides considering there are many beautiful paths crossing the near forests. Gastronomy is rich and well known in this part of Croatia, and the most famous products are surely vine, truffles, olive oil and wild asparagus (that are growing spontaneously in the forests nearby). Sovinjak is somehow situated in the center of Istria region, that allows to reach most of the istrian cities and beaches in about 30 minutes with car, so it's a perfect location to discover all the beauties of the region. Italy and Slovenia can also be reached in less then one hour.
