Field View - In a Beautiful Cotswold Farmhouse

Enjoy a relaxing and luxurious stay in a quiet setting on a farm. Newly renovated, with modern shower room and fully equipped kitchen. Spacious double bedroom holding a super kingsize bed. Located next to Castle Coombe and surrounded by wonderful places to visit makes this an ideal base to explore the Cotswolds, Bath and Bristol. Easy access to the M4/M5 makes day trips to anywhere in the South West possible. Great countryside walks including the Macmillian Way route. Attached annexe to main farmhouse with own entrance. Field View has its own entrance off the farm yard. Guests have full access to the annexe and our garden but should not wander around the farm yard without prior permission. If guests are happy to help themselves using a key box then we like to leave them to it. We take every care to make everything self-explanatory so guests can just turn the key, let themselves in, make themselves at home and get their relaxing escape underway. That said we're usually somewhere close-by on the farm and can show guests round if they wish and we are always contactable on the phone to answer any questions. Very friendly village shop within walking distance and surrounding by choice of fantastic gastro pubs within 5-10 minute drive. The route of the Macmillian Way (Website hidden by Airbnb) passes through the farm which includes one of the highlights of the route the Lugbury Long Barrow. Castle Coombe "prettiest village in England" is the village next door and if you take the footpath across the golf course is in walking distance. Tetbury is a wonderful Cotswold market town with antique shops and cafes galore. The gardens of HRH Prince Charles at Highgrove are near Tetbury along with Westonbirt Arboretum with it's (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) different species of trees, Illuminated trails at Christmas, Forest gigs in summer and fabulous dog walking year round in Silk Wood. All of this is just a 20 minutes beautiful drive away. Badminton Horse Trials in May is a 5 minute drive away and Gatcombe Horse Trials in August is about a 30 minute drive. Other places in the area to visit include Berkeley Castle, Chavenage House, Lacock Abbey, Rodmarton Manor and the Cotswold Water Park. Whilst it is possible to walk to a shop and a few pub options (closest being 0.9 miles), if you are wanting to get around the area on anything other that foot or bike power it is best to visit with a car as there is very limited public transport available. There is free off-road parking onsite.
