Large Queen Studio with Private Entrance

A beautifully presented private studio situated below a stunning heritage home with your own entrance to come & go as you please. Privacy, space & a peaceful leafy outlook, use of the pool, close to parks & public transport to the City, Ryde, Rhodes & Macquarie Park. The Accommodation The guest accommodation is a private space with ensuite, small fridge, lounge area, TV, microwave, kettle, toaster & Nespresso coffee machine. It has it's own entrance situated below a stunning heritage listed sandstone home in historic Hunters Hill. It is beautifully cool in summer & has underfloor heating so cosy & warm in winter. The bed is a comfortable Queen size & all linen & towels are supplied. We stock the fridge for your arrival with some basic breakfast supplies including cereal, juice, milk, bread etc & Nespresso capsules. The ensuite has a spacious shower but no bathtub. There is free wifi available. Please note that other than the microwave in your room there are no other cooking facilities available. There is also no kitchen sink, only the bathroom so we ask that if you need dishes washed up you leave them on the kitchen bench or outside table in the morning & we will replace them each day. There is a dishwashing wand in the bathroom & a tea towel if would prefer to wash your own cups glasses or breakfast dishes you are most welcome to do so The House Our home is a beautiful Heritage listed sandstone cottage with modern additions at the rear. There is a peaceful outdoor sitting area & pool with lounges which you are welcome to use. There is a laundry upstairs & we will happily do any washing you need done. My husband & I live upstairs & work largely from home so are usually around & happy to answer questions or drop you at bus or ferry stop etc. I am a chef & if we are eating in you are welcome to join us for dinner for a nominal cost. Location Hunters Hill is on Sydney's lower north shore just past the Gladesville bridge. it is a 5 min walk to buses to the CBD which take about 20mins or we can drop you at one of 2 ferry wharfs for a 30min trip to Circular Quay. The ferry also gives you access to Balmain, Darling Harbour, Cockatoo Island & Parramatta. The airport is approx. a 30-40min drive or a $50-$60 taxi ride. We are close to beautiful riverside parks & walking tracks including the Great North Walk, Tarban Creek & Boronia Park. St Josephs College is at the end of our street & Woolwich dock is a 5min bus ride. There is plenty of street parking & the area is very safe. A 10-15 min walk gets you to chemist, mini supermarket, newsagent, great cafes, a variety of restaurants & the Hunters Hill Hotel. Guest are welcome to use the pool & pool lounges at any time & to join us for a drink or a coffee upstairs at any time if we are around We are happy to have as much or as little interaction as suits our guests. Do your own thing or come & say hello Hunters Hill is a quiet, leafy, garden suburb with lots of historical buildings, waterfront parks & walking trails. There is a good variety of cafes, restaurants & pubs within a 15-20 min walk Our accommodation is ideal if you have your own car as there is easy parking on the street but plenty of our guests use public transport which is buses or the ferry service We can provide an extra trundle bed for a child or extra person at an additional fee of $25 per night
