Bright & Airy Loft Room in Melton Constable
Melton Constable is a quiet village in North Norfolk, best known for its railway history. I moved here in November 2020 and have been refurbishing my new home with new carpets and a bright white coat of paint throughout so every thing is fresh and attractive. Whilst I can't promise beautiful views, I do hope that you'll find my home comfortable, warm and welcoming. It's a great spot to explore the coast - 12m to Cromer, 7m to Blakeney, 5m to Holt, 7m to Walsingham and 10m to Wells next the Sea. Parking is on-road and shared with the neighbours. It does get busy but there are always spaces within easy walking distance. By the time you arrive the garden will be a great place to relax and you're welcome to use this when the weather is nice. I’ll provide a shelf in the fridge should you decide to eat your breakfast in each morning ( I do provide basic condiments and regular & decaff tea & coffee, sugar and cow's milk). Please note that the kitchen is available for preparing your breakfast only. The bedroom has a SMART TV (Amazon fire stick) with integral DVD player. Summer & winter duvets or a sheet for use in hot weather. There's also an Alexa Dot for your morning alarm or radio / music etc. Extra blankets and an electric blanket can be provided if required. There is also a smallish wardrobe with hangers. Parking is on road and FOC. If you can't find a space in my road there will be some in parallel roads. Car is ecessary for travel. I'll be on hand the majority of the time to make sure you're happy and settled. I do love to go out and explore this beautiful county, particularly early in the morning and I offer a one to one companion tour for those new to the area or travelling alone. If you're interested do let me know when you arrive. Melton Constable is a safe and quiet village. In the morning one can usually hear cockerels crowing but the nights are quiet. If you want to eat out for breakfast or just treat yourself there's a fabulous artisan bakery the 'Siding' that is 5 minutes walk up the road, it sells fresh coffee, bread and the most delicious pastries. For the railway enthusiast there are also many landmarks relating to Melton's industrial past. There are a couple of good food pubs locally for eating out, more info is provided in the House Guide or message me for recommendations if you want to book in advance. There are regular buses but the visitor needs a car to make the most of North Norfolk. I'm happy to share my knowledge of this wonderful area if it's new to you and offer a companion tour if you seek company. I'm happy for you to relax and be comfortable, all I ask is that you're considerate that this is my home.
